Chapter 41: The Party

~Tessa~

I woke up around 7 and it was time for my first class of the day. Psychology. I was not excited about the work, but I was excited to see Finn. He seriously was so perfect. He even worked hard in class which was hard to say for most of the boys in that class. 

I got ready for the day, got my books together, then headed to my class. I was walking in when I saw Finn at the door. 

"Hey, Tessa right?" He asked me smoothly. I looked up at him and then said, "Yeah, that's me. You're Finn right?" I asked back, already knowing his name.

"Yep, that's me!" He said happily. "So, wanna sit in the back with me, the front makes me anxious." He said smoothly again in the same tone as before.

"Yeah, sure. We can do that." I tried to stay as cool as possible. He nodded and added a slight smile to his lips and then we made our way to the back of the classroom. He took a seat and I followed after him. 

"So, how are you?" He asked me sweetly. He made direct eye contact with me and I immediately melted.

"I'm good, how are you?" I echoed. 

"I'm great, thanks!" He said lastly.

"You're welcome, so how old are you?" I asked curiously.

"I'm 18, what about you?" 

"I'm 17, I'll be 18 in about 2 weeks," I said.

"Then how are you already a freshman in college?" He asked seriously.

"I got placed ahead," I said shyly.

"Ohh, damn! So you must be pretty smart then..." He said quickly.

"I guess so.." I chuckled at him. He flashed me a bright smile and I smiled back.

"You have a beautiful smile." He breathed. I froze up and just kept smiling foolishly.

"Thanks." I managed to spit out.

"You okay?" He chuckled at me.

"Mhm," I said shortly. That's when the bell rang. Thank god.

It was a long ass class and boring as could be. As soon as the bell sounded again I started to stand up but Finn stopped me.

"So, there's a party going on at my friend's house, if you wanna come?" He asked me.

"Uh, sure? What's the address?" I asked willingly.

"I'll just pick you up at your dorm." He said. "What's your room number?" He finished.

"306," I said finally.

"Great, so, I'll see you at 7?" He asked me.

"Yeah, sounds good." I finished and then he walked out of the room. 

~Later~

I was rushing around my dorm room trying to find something to wear. I went into my closet and looked through everything and found a dress with some tribal print on it. It had tank top sleeves and a circle skirt that fell a little above my knees. I paired it with some lace-up sandals. I left my hair natural and just applied some mascara, concealer, and a little bit of chapstick. I sprayed a bit of perfume onto my wrists and neck, got my purse, and sat on my bed to wait for Finn. I took my phone off the charger and checked it.

Finn: Be there soon!😘

I practically died when I saw that he sent me a kissy face. I texted him back the same face and then just waited.
