~Tessa~

Today was my wedding day. I was honestly so nervous. I didn't think I've ever been this nervous about something in my whole life. I didn't know why though.

"Hey, babe..." Finn came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Hey..." I said softly as I closed my eyes. He placed a few soft kisses on my neck and then rested his head against the back of mine.

"We're getting married today..." he said softly. I could hear the happiness in his soft voice.

"Yeah, we are. I'm just nervous..." I confessed.

"Why's that?" He asked me as he gently turned me around.

"I don't know, I'm just afraid something bad is gonna happen, I guess."

"Everything's gonna work out perfectly, I promise," he said as he placed a kiss on my lips.

"I love you so much..." I said against his lips.

"I love you so much, too," he said back to me.

~A Few Hours Later~

I went over to my parents' house to start getting ready. When I walked into the house, my mom had a camera already out and was ready to take some pictures.

"Mom, I'm not even ready yet..." I giggled.

"I know, but I want before and after pictures. Smile!" She said as she held the camera up and snapped a photo.

"Okay, let's go get ready now, I don't wanna run out of time," I said as I made my way over to the bathroom.

"Okay, I'm with you. Do you want to do your hair first or get into your dress first?" She asked me.

"Probably get into my dress first, but let's do my makeup before I get into the dress because I don't wanna get anything on it."

"Okay, good idea," she said as she began to do my makeup. We went really natural and didn't do anything super dramatic. She then took my dress out of the protective bag they sell it in.

"Go out of the bathroom please, I want it to be a surprise," I said looking at the doorway.

"Okay, okay, fine." She left and then I changed into my dress.

When I walked out she wasn't looking at the door so I had to get her attention. I knocked on the door frame gently and she turned my way. Immediately a big smile spread across her face as tears filled her wide eyes.

"You look so beautiful..." she said through her tears.

"Thank you..." I said softly to her. She then did my hair. She curled it and put half of it up and half of it down.

"You should go see Luna's dress if you haven't already," I told her. Luna was going to be my flower girl and I was so happy that I had someone to do that for me. I didn't have many friends in school so I wasn't going to have any bride's maids. My mom was, of course, my maid of honor and that was that.

"I didn't see her yet, where is she?" She asked me as she sprayed some hairspray in my hair.

"She's in the playroom, hold on, I'll go get her," I said.

"Okay but wait, smile first!" She said taking out her camera again and taking another picture of me.

I walked down the stairs and into the playroom.

"Hey, Lu, are you ready to go show Nani your dress?" I asked her. She looked up at me and then her eyes widened just as big as my moms did when she saw me.

"Mommy! You look beautiful!" She exclaimed.

"Well, thank you, angel! You look just as beautiful yourself!" I said happily to her as she got up and came over to me to hug me. I hugged her back and then we walked up the stairs together.

"Okay, mom, get ready!" I called out to her from the doorway.

"I'm ready!" She said coming over to us. When she saw us, she got even more emotional than before and then said, "Wow, you guys are so beautiful and sweet!" She took another picture then.

"Okay, let's get going," she finished.

"Mom, don't you have to get ready?" I asked her.

"Oh, yeah!" She ran up the stairs then to go get herself dressed.

Luna giggled at her and so did I.

Later she finally came down and she looked so cute and pretty.

"You look so beautiful, too!" I said giving her a hug and a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Thank you!" She said as she grabbed her things. "Okay, let's go now!" She said eagerly.

"Alright!" I said grabbing Luna and then heading out the door with my mom. The rest of the family was already at the venue I assumed so we didn't have to wait for anyone else to get ready.

~A Few More Hours Later~

It was almost time for the wedding and I was seriously getting impossibly more nervous than ever before. I was shaking slightly and my heartbeat was going at a million miles a second.

"I'm so nervous, I'm gonna puke or something," I said turning to my mom.

"No, you aren't. Just focus on what you're doing, and you'll be fine!" She smiled warmly at me and I felt a little better.

"Thanks," I said. Then the music started playing and it was time for me to go out and walk down the aisle.

I walked slowly and when Finn saw me his eyes lit up like fireworks. He smiled brightly at me as I came closer to him and finally reached the altar. He immediately grabbed a hold of my hands and kissed my cheek.

"You look so beautiful," he said to me quietly under his breath.

"Thank you, you look handsome," I said in the same tone.

"Family and friends we are gathered here today, to join this man, and this woman, together in marriage. Tessa Jane, do you take Finley Adams to be your husband, in sickness and in health, rich or poor, for worse or for better. Do you promise to comfort him and love him unconditionally for as long as you both shall live?" The priest asked.

"I do," I said as a tear managed to escape from my eye.

"Finley Oliver, do you take Tessa Efron to be your wife, in sickness and in health, rich or poor, for worse or for better. Do you promise to take care of her always and love her unconditionally for as long as you both shall live?" He asked again.

"I do," Finn said as he looked into my glossy eyes.

"I now pronounce you, husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." The priest stood back and Finn leaned in and lightly pressed his lips against mine. I put more pressure back on his and then the kiss deepened. It felt so good to be kissed by him, especially now that he was my husband.

When we walked back down the aisle, Luna came by us and scattered flower petals in a trail behind us. Everyone clapped and took pictures. Then we danced and took more pictures, had some food and red wine, opened a few gifts, made some toasts, and enjoyed the night together as a family. It was perfect, just like Finn had said.
