Kenyanna's POV:

Today was my graduation. I'm finally graduating high school, moving out the house, and being on my own. I will be attending Grambling State University with Dominic. He has a baseball scholarship with them. I'm going to major in biology and sports medicine. At first I wanted to be in the music business, but later changed my mind once I actually talked to an administrator at a performing arts school.

I will have to attend medical school after this so I can become a sports physician for football. This year has been pretty chill if you ask me. Cheryl got through her divorce, and is now dating Dr. Micah. Ethan ended up going to Alabama state on a full scholarship for football. Pops is currently dating a new woman. It took all of us some time to get used to it, but I understand that he deserves to be happy again. She could never compare to my mother, but she'll do. Lourie is engaged, and pregnant with her second child. Our family just keeps getting bigger. Oh yea and O is doing good with the New York Giants. They made it to the playoffs. He's just hoping and praying to make it to the super bowl. He has such a love and passion for the game, till it's ridiculous.

I've been waiting for this day for a while now. Pops and I had a 2 hour conversation last night about me being on my own and growing up. I'll be in gramercy, it's a little ride but it's not that bad. 🙄he's so dramatic.

"KEN YOU READY?" Ethan screamed from downstairs.

"YEA COMING" I put on my shoes and gown. Ethan would be taking me since pops was going to be running a little late. He had to get something, but he'll make it back by the time they call my name. I went downstairs and seen everybody.

"There she is! Our last graduate" Cheryl sighed and hugged me

"Yea yea yea" I fought back the tears and hugged her

"Congratulations ken! It is such an honor to graduate from high school. Some kids drop out" Micah said hugging me

"Yea I know. Just ready for this new chapter in my life" I nodded.

"Congrats baby sis." Lourie said hugging me with her huge belly

"Thanks lourie."

"Good job baby girl. I'm proud of you" her fiancé, Jonathan, spoke then hugged me

"Thanks John." We had a real close relationship. He was really nice and easy to talk to.

"Where Odell?" I asked looking around "And aunt pat?"

"Oh they went with pops to get whatever" Ethan said rolling his eyes.

"Oh lord. I know that's going to be one hell of a trip" I shook my head and we all laughed.

"You ready to go?" Ethan asked grabbing his keys.

"Yea. Uhm I have to be there early, but y'all can come at 6. I'll come earlier if you want a seat" I said then left. I was ecstatic.

Odell's POV:

"HURRY THE HELL UP BEFORE I MISS MY BABY GRADUATION" aunt pat fussed from the back of kens new car

Yes Ken got a new car. The deal for all us was that when we graduate we get a new car. Ken graduated so Ken gets a new car. Aunt pat had been fussing the entire time. Like we know we're going to be late, but not late to the point we miss her

"Pat calm your ass down" pops said while shaking his head

"WHO YOU CURSING AT WALTER! THATS THAT NEW BITCH GOT YOU FEELING BOLD. THAT BITCH AINT MY SISTER AND NEVER WILL BE" aunt pat fussed. I tried to hold back my laughter

"Never said she was pat. Matter of fact her and rose are different. Sometimes different is better" he said while driving a little faster

"What you trying to say about mother?" I asked with a raised eyebrow
