Kenyanna's POV:

It was morning time and today was our pre Christmas Eve dinner. It was a dinner we had the day before Christmas Eve at a restaurant. We had to dress fancy and get all dolled up🙄. We also had a Christmas Eve dinner but this was a dinner where the family cooked. We could invite all our friends and anybody else we wanted to this dinner and the Christmas Eve one. Every year I invited Brian and he would love it, but this year I'm inviting Dominic. I wanted my family to meet him. He said he wanted to wait till the time is right, but the time was right for me right now.

'You have to dress fancy babe!' I texted him

'Yea yea I know Ken😘 I can't wait to see you'

'I'm dressing simple😴'

'I bet. You bout to be all extra with your shit. Cause you love to show your ass😂' I laughed at the message

'I'm glad you know❤️' i locked my phone.

I went downstairs and nobody was there. They had to be getting ready.

"Uhm Kenyanna tell that lil boy you inviting over to make sure he bring his own money" aunt Katherine came into the living room.

"He is aunt Katherine. He's not broke you know"

"You better hope he pays for you too cause if he don't. HMMM! No manners" she said shaking her head. She was so aggravating.

"I promise you he will pay for me" I rolled my eyes then went into the kitchen. "Damn no food?"

"Not right now. Damn Ken I know you see me cooking" Cheryl said putting a pan in the oven

"Shit. Who pissed in your oatmeal?" I asked eating an apple

"Richard." She slammed the oven closed

"What's wrong?" I looked at her and she looked away. "Cheryl?" I was trying to read her face. "Is he cheating on you?" I asked sitting my apple down and standing up

"I don't know Ken" she started crying. "I seen some messages on his phone from some lady named Lisa. And I think he had sex with her." She wiped her tears

"AINT NO THINK! HE DID! Oh hell no Cheryl! Tell Odell!" We both knew Odell would beat Richard ass

"What!? NO WAY. He'll kill him!"

"GOOD. You can't just let this slide Cheryl. Yo-" I was cut off by Richard waking in

"We'll talk about this later" she spoke

"I wanna talk about this now!" I looked concerned. Richard hugged Cheryl and smiled. Dirty bastard

"Goodmorning Ken." He smiled at me

"Don't talk to me." I grabbed a water then walked out

"Damn. What did I do?" He asked holding his hands up. "What did I do?"

"Nothing babe. Just don't worry about it okay. She's having a bad day." Cheryl said rubbing his arms.

I went outside to clear my head. Fuck. Well if she ain't worried, neither am I. I sat back on the step and texted Dominic.

'My sister husband is cheating on her'

'Cheryl? Idk why. She got a fat ass👅' I rolled my eyes

'Well date her'
