Your POV
Andy...he's fucking amazing. He's loving, caring, generous, kind, and has the biggest heart ever. He even puts up with my crazy ass. Don't you think he deserves something for being the best fiancé in the whole goddamn world?
HELL YEA.
So...and I can't believe I'll be doing this...I'm getting a job. Anything for my boo though. The reason I'm getting a job is cuz I can't ask my parents for the money. They'll ask why I want so much. I don't have the kind of money to get an engagement ring...yet. So I'm going to work as hard as possible and get the money for the ring.
But first, I need to go pick the ring out and settle a price. Now...I'm just gonna look for one that is right for Andy, get price information, and get to working my ass off. I'll most likely pick a flashy one...therefore...I'll be working for months. It's all worth it.
Now I really don't like going places by myself, so I asked Vic to come along with me. He can help since he's a guy and he knows what a guy would like as an engagement ring.
We went to the Zalez in the mall and started looking at the rings on display. "Hello! May I help you two with anything?" An employee asked us. The name on his name tag reads "Henry". "Uh...yes please! I'm looking for an engagement ring for my fiancé." I nodded.
"Oh! Well, I'd be happy to help you and your fiancé here find a nice ring." Henry motioned towards Vic. "I'm not her fiancé, I'm just here to guide her in the right direction." Vic corrected Henry. "Oops! Ha, sorry. Anyways, come on over here and give me an idea of what you're looking for." Henry went to the beginning of the men's engagement rings.
"I'm looking for a kind of flashy ring. I don't want a plain band, that's so boring. I want a cool ring with one color, not too much, just one color. My man has a vampy style, he likes dark colors. I'm thinking a dark red will satisfy him." I detailed.
"Hmm...let me take a look for any dark reds." Henry scanned every display. He opened some displays and took the rings with red jewels out so he could show me. They were laid out, one by one, in front of me. "May I ask what your budget is?" He asked.
"Whatever the price is on the ring, I'll get the money and buy it when I can." I told him. He nodded in understanding, then left Vic and I to look at the rings. "I know you don't want anything normal for Andy, so I'll just move the basic ones out of the way." Vic removed a couple of rings. "Which one would you want?" I wondered. "I'd want something fit for a king...it should be big. So...this one." He picked up a big, silver, detailed ring with a humongous red jewel in the middle. I examined it thoroughly to see if it's good enough for Andy.
Honestly, I adore the sort of royal look to it; the huge, red jewel is a great touch, and the thickness of the ring is awesome. I really like it and I hope Andy likes it too.
Now...for the price. "Henry! I found a ring. I'd like to know how much it costs." I called Henry over. "Ah, this ring is called "The Master's Ring", adored by the rich people for the look of wealth it gives off. Nice choice, nice timing, this is the last one. And the price is...," Henry went flipping through a book of rings and their prices, "$3,580."
