Your POV

The day came when I could finally pick up my motorcycle. Vic gave me a lift to Eddie's motorcycle garage and we went up to his shop.

"Hello? Eddie?" I called for him. I don't see anyone around. A door that lead to the garages suddenly opened. A couple of bolts came rolling out of the door and after them, followed Eddie. He was really greased up with oil stains on his grey shirt and his light brown hair was all messed up with a majority of white hairs sticking out. Damn, Eddie's getting old. He's only 47!

"Hey, girly! How are ya? This your boyfriend you brought with ya? You finally hooked him in, didn't ya?" Eddie wiped some sweat from his forehead. "Eddie, you know Vic. Him and I aren't dating XD. I'm doing very well. And you?" I returned the question.

"Welp, I'm not doin' so well. Went to the doctors so he could take a look at a headache that I had for months and turns out I've got a brain tumor. I can't get surgery on it cuz the brain is sensitive. Doc gives me 2 more months of life." He shrugged.

"Oh my god...Eddie, I'm so sorry. Is there anything my family or I could do to make your last months of life the best?" I asked. Poor guy, he's my motorcycle man. Who will I run to if my motorcycle gets fucked again?! Shit, I'm gonna miss him. I've gotta tell my dad when I get home.

"No, I'll be fine, girly. I just want to enjoy the small things in life now. The small things matter. What would mean a lot to me is that maybe you could make it to the funeral with your family and friends. I'd really love that. I have a list done and everyone on my list will get an invitation sent to them." He smiled.

"Yes, I'll definitely be there and I'll make sure everyone I know attends as well. I...I'm gonna miss you, Eddie." I stammered, my eyes pricking with tears.

"Me too." Vic said. I looked over to him and he was already crying. "I see you as my uncle. I'm losing a family member! Eddiieeeee..." I hugged him and cried on his shoulder. Vic got into the hug too. Then Eddie got emotional and we were all breaking down in the shop. "It's-it's gonna be ok. C'mon, (y/n), Vic, stop crying please." Eddie stopped his tears the best he could. Vic and I let him go, trying to contain our tears as well.

Once we all calmed down, Eddie took us to the garage where my motorcycle waited. He walked right past the light switch. "Aren't you gonna turn on the lights?" I asked him.

"I am turning on the lights...on your new motorcycle!" He said. A click echoed through the garage and lights illuminated from my motorcycle that stood in the middle of the room.

"Aaahhh!!! Oh my gooddd!!!! Eddie!!! She's beautiful!!!" I ran to Eddie and hugged him again, then hugged my motorcycle, admiring her beautiful under lighting

"Aaahhh!!! Oh my gooddd!!!! Eddie!!! She's beautiful!!!" I ran to Eddie and hugged him again, then hugged my motorcycle, admiring her beautiful under lighting. "HOT DAMN, BABY, LOOK AT YOU!" I stroked my motorcycle's leather seat. Her lights went through the whole color spectrum over and over again.

I thanked Eddie immensely for going all out on my baby. I offered to pay him for his amazing work, but he declined, saying that the money didn't matter because his time would end soon. Vic and I gave Eddie one last hug before we left.
