Your POV

"My sweet, little baby...you've gotten so big and strong." I played with Phoenix on my lap.

"He's what? Like 5 weeks old now?" Andy asked, sliding on the couch next to me.

"I think so, but I haven't been counting." I laughed.

It's been about a week since the whole Danielle thing happened. Even though it's all over, it still affects me. Like...I can't leave Phoenix alone. Andy and I take turns watching him over night while he sleeps in his crib.

Sometimes I have nightmares about Danielle and that she's back to take my family again. Sometimes I can't sleep. And the worst part is that whenever anyone scares me or when some sound wakes me from my sleep, I transform.

The transformation is fast; takes
approximately 10 seconds for me to go from human to werewolf. Every time that happens, whatever I'm wearing rips, my thinking...doesn't happen. I automatically think "someone's in the house and wants to take my baby, GO KILL THEM." Ugh, then Andy has to hold me tight against him and he keeps telling me that Danielle is dead, she's not coming back, and it's nothing to be worried about. God bless his heart and patience when it comes to me.

"When do you think-" Andy was going to say...but I snapped my hand up to silence him...I hear something...someone.

I sprang up and ran to the front door. In that short time, I was in werewolf form, and Andy came right after me.

"(Y/n), it's ok." He slowly stepped towards me.

I kept all fours on the floor, my knees and elbows bent low, my sharp teeth bared, and I was ready to jump at any moment.

"Hey, Hey...come on." Andy carefully wrapped his arms around my waist from behind. Before he could get a good grip on me, the door opened. Immediately, I lunged forward, barking, biting, and snarling.

Luckily, Andy still caught me before I hurt anyone. He pulled me backwards, one arm fully slung over my chest and the other around my hips.

"It's Vic! It's Vic! Honey, please!" He struggled to hold me.

I took a second to actually look at who was standing at my door; he was frightened. It really was Vic. Oh no...

I stopped trying to attack him. "Vic," I stepped forward quickly...too quick for comfort. Vic shrank back, still scared I'd kill him. "I'm sorry," I slowed down, "Vic, I'm so sorry."

"I-it's uh...ok." He entered my house.

"Sometimes I hear things and they scare me, then I don't stop to think who or what it is and in a snap, I attack. Please don't be afraid of me."

"(Y/n), that whole accident was a week ago and you're still on edge about it. It's like you have PTSD. Is that it?" Vic asked me.

"No, no...I...I'm ok." I lied horribly.

"Obviously not. How can we help you?" Vic referred to himself, Andy, and everyone else.

"I-I'm not sure-" I had no idea.

"What if you have fun? Yanno, loosen up a bit? Ever since the accident, we haven't done anything fun. We've just been here living regular lives." Andy said.
