Chapter 15: Winter Time

Your POV

As the weeks passed, we were getting closer to Christmas! Yay! We're on winter break, so there's no school. There are only ten days left until Christmas and I'm so excited!

There's one bad thing though...it hasn't snowed. I've been flushing ice cubes down the toilet for a week, but still no snow. It worked in the past, I don't know why it's not working now.

I tossed more ice cubes into the toilet before I went to bed. "(Y/n), it's not gonna work. It would've snowed already. Maybe there's no snow this year." Jaime drooped his sad eyes. "We've just gotta keep believing, brother. I won't stop until there's snow." I stayed determined. Jaime trudged to his room to go to sleep. I did the same, hoping that there would be at least one snow flake tomorrow.

The following day, I woke up with the sun shining brighter than usual. The light radiating from the sun was clearer, like a lighter hue of sunshine. I peered out my window, double checking to make sure the sight in front of me was real.

THERE'S SNOOOWWW! AND A WHOLE LOT OF IT! I dashed downstairs, leaving Vic in a state of confusion. He doesn't know why I'm running like crazy, but he caught on and ran after me. I threw my front door open, diving into the snow. IT'S LIKE THREE FEET DEEP, SO I SUNK IN AS SOON AS I TOUCHED IT. Vic jumped in with me while flurries of snowflakes kept falling, starting to bury me in the snow.

Jaime stood by the door, his eyes showing so much happiness from the snow falling. He then looked down to Vic and I shaking the flurries from our hair.

"Ooohhh, (y/n)...you fooling around with Vic in the snow?" Jaime teased.

"No! XD just playing around. Join us!" I laughed. Jaime took too long to get his ass in the snow, so I pulled him down with me. I hugged him tight, happy because I just knew the snow would be here. "You did it, sister. You made it snow!" Jaime hugged me back.

As the rest of the pack woke up, they went to play in the snow with us. "Y'all better not get my house wet." My mom warned us. We nodded and continued playing. "Let's build a snowman!" Kaytlynn said, she's so happy XD. "Yea! Let's build a huge snowman! Werewolf style." I smirked. They knew what that meant.

We started pelting snowballs into one spot, then when we thought it was big enough, we smoothed out the sides and rounded the shape. We did the same with the rest of the snowman's shape except for the face. We all went up to the snowman's head and shaped it with our werewolf features. Like pointed ears, shape teeth, we put a lot of detail into the eyes and stuff.

After sculpting the face, we moved down to the body. "Should it be a guy or a girl?" Jessica asked. "Ummm...a girl. Our next leader is a girl." Jaime smiled. So we picked at the snow, being as precise as possible with the details.

It took a while, but we finished her and she looks fucking awesome! She actually looks like me. "I like it!" I cheered, looking at the masterpiece we've created. "Of course you like it, darling, it's of you!" Vic lifted me onto his shoulders. "So Christmas is coming up soon and you haven't told any of us what you want." Jaime said. "I don't really want anything. It's fine." I shrugged.

"Well, say we want to get you something...what do we get you?" He asked.

"Nothing. What about you guys? What would y'all like?" I asked all of them.

"We won't tell you what we want until you tell us what you want." Jaime crossed his arms. "Ok, ok...uuhhh...earbuds, stuff from hot topic, gummy worms, new phone case, sketchbook, and a lava lamp." I listed the things that I wanted. "Awww, I don't know why, but that list is cute." My brother awed at me.
