Austin would be coming back to Florida in two days. I know it's only for a week, and then he'd have to leave again, but I don't care as long as this week is perfect. Austin is coming in on April 4th, his birthday. I want it to be special. Usually since our birthdays are only 3 days apart, everyone except me, agreed we'd just celebrate both birthdays on mine, April 1st, also known as April Fools. I thought it was so unfair to Austin. He wasn't born on April 1st like me, he was born on April 4th and that's when his birthday should be celebrated. But Austin said he loved celebrating on April Fools cause he had excuses to prank me every hour. It was cute. He was cute. But this birthday celebration is going to be different. Not only because Austin wasn't here for mine but because...I miss him. We miss him. I call Alex, who travels with Austin occasionally, trying to get my idea started, not even thinking about the time difference.
"Hello?" Alex answers sounding sleep
"Oh...sorry I totally forgot about the time difference! I'll call back later." I say
"Carter, calm down, it's only 2 P.M. here. I was just taking a nap." says Alex chuckling
"Oh. Well I have an idea and I wanted to run it by you."
"An idea for what?"
That voice wasn't Alex's though, it was Austin's. The voice I haven't heard face to face within months, the one I missed. I missed Alex to, it was that Alex was here more. Alex didn't always travel with Austin, but when he did, he was missed.
"Hello?"
I hear Austin's voice again.
"Am I on speaker?" I question
"Maybe..." Austin says
"Hey Carter." Mama Mahone says
"Sup Carter." Dave says
"Hey Mama Mahone, and Dizzy Dave." I say with a smile. "I kinda need to talk to Alex alone though."
Silence. No one says anything and I get scared. I hear some adjustments, and Austin saying
"Let me talk to her, tell her I miss her."
It brings a tear to my eye, I missed him to.
"Okay, you have me, it's all clear." Alex says
