Why can't anything go right today?

Everything's falling apart.

I'm falling apart.

Everyone around me is falling apart.

Robert's passed out on the couch, drunk. Alex is in a chair with a black eye and an ice pack. Sadie on the floor balling her eyes out, make up running. Reba trying to comfort Alex. And Zach and Jocelyn trying to talk Sadie from punching Robert herself. Family members and other friends leaving with Mama Mahone and Dave thanking them for coming. Me just standing in the middle of the living room watching everything. I search for Austin finding him thanking people for coming to. Our eyes meet, and he knows we have to talk.

"I'm sorry this party didn't go the way you wanted." I confess

"It's not your fault Carter."

"It kinda was. If I wasn't here than the party would have been fine."

"You do realize if you weren't here, I wouldn't of had any fun and there probably wouldn't of been a party. Plus we'll never forget this day." Austin smiles

"That's for sure." I agree

Austin looks around the living room, then takes me by my hand upstairs to his room, closing the door behind him.

"Why did you bring me up here?" I say admiring his room.

"Cause everything downstairs was pretty chaotic and I wanted to talk about what you told Robert."

"What did I tell Robert?"

"That you liked a certain someone named Austin."

I smirk, "Yeah. There's this boy named Austin and we've been friends for a while."

"Oh, and do I know this Austin?"

"I don't know. He goes to my school, and sits next to me in English."

"And what's his last name?" Austin asks

"Campbell." I flash a smile

"Oh. Cause I swear you where talking about me." Austin says wrapping his arms around me, my back facing him.

"Well I wasn't."

"So if I kiss your neck, it wouldn't affect you right?"

"Nope." I answer hesitating

Austin slowly places gentle kisses down my neck causing my legs to shake.

Austin smiles into my neck, "I thought you said it wouldn't affect you."

I turn and face Austin, and glance into his eyes knowing that smile.

"I did, it didn't affect me."

"I think your legs would say other wise." Austin says looking down at my legs.

I look down at my legs and they're still shaking.

"My legs always do that." I smile

"So this shouldn't make a difference either."

Austin kisses my lips then with his tongue asks for access in my mouth.

And I let him in.
