The doctor returns and dismisses me from the hospital.
"I think you should come home." Mother says
"I'll be fine mom. Austin just came back today and I want to be with him.We've wasted time as it is."
"Okay, but you have to be back by mid-night."
"I think I can do that." I say managing a smile.
My mother leaves and that just leaves me, Austin, the crew, and Mama Mahone, Dave, and Rocco.
"I think we should all head back to my place." Austin says
"I have to head back home. I want to spend time with Summer before we have to leave again." Rocco says goodbye
"Then there was ten of us." says Sadie
We head back and I realize the suprise party didn't go as plan at all. We arrive at Austin's and I stop him at the door.
"Austin, there's something I have to tell you."
"What?" Austin says worried.
"It's the reason why I didn't want to talk to you."
"Carter, you don't have to worry about that anymore."
"No. I need to tell you."
Austin looks at me waiting for an answer.
"I tried to plan you a surprise party, but nothing went as plan."
"Carter, I don't think you understand."
"Understand what?"
"Did you actually know what I wanted for my birthday?"
"Not a surprise party I guessing."
"I came back early because I wanted to spend the day with you.Not to go anywhere fancy really just hang at home, but then you said you wanted to go to the mall so I went along because I thought that was what you wanted to do."
"Oh...well now I feel bad."
"Don't. Today was pretty crazy. I'm sure I'll never forget this day." Austin smiles
I look Austin in the eyes.
"Why do you have to turn everything positive. This day was terrible." I chuckle
"Well I hope what I planned will make up for that."
"You planned something?"
"Of course. We didn't spend our birthdays together and I'm not going to be selfish and spend this day all about me when I missed yours."
"Austin what are you--"
Austin opens his front door and
