Our eyes meet for a full minute. I think? I can't even think about time while I'm looking into his eyes. A customer passes threw our view and our eyes part. I walk back to my position in the store that I almost forgot I was in. I hear his footsteps hitting the ground behind me almost running after me and soon his hands meet my shoulders. Austin spins me around, causing me to get a little woozy, and he looks into my eyes again. Then he finally makes his lips find mine and gently kips me. My fist bare into his chest giving him a sign that I don't want this and to stop but he deepens the kiss and his hands find my face pushing harder and harder. I keep punching, angry, thinking of everything. I feel a tear leave my eye and he feels it pulling back and wiping the other tears that have fallen from my face.

"Don't pretend that you don't want this, us, to work."

"Austin...I just--"

"No! I can't do this anymore! I've been thinking about you to much Carter! I only have two days left here and then I have to travel again."

"Then why are you here Austin? You're just going to leave again anyway."

"Because I'm here to say I like you. Like really really like you. I haven't stopped thinking about you since our argument. I need you in my life. I want to go on our first date before I leave. I want to make you smile and spend time with you these last two days like these are our last two days on earth. I even wrote you a song and Rob helped. Just at least listen to it please? Its called "All I Ever Need" and I really want you to hear it.

I look at Lisbet and my other co-workers who are saying I should go and look at the  small group of customers attention we've attracted and inhale and exhale and say it.

"Austin...I'm not going with you anywhere, and I don't want to listen to your stupid song. Okay? We're done."
