Lunch could not come any slower. It seems like time passes so slowly on Mondays. Why I am complaining? I'm seeing the most sweetest boy less than twenty four hours. After ordering a Caesar salad for lunch, I sit with my lunch table crew. We have:
Reba: My best friend since forever it seems like.
Sadie: My 2nd best friend, and the blackest white chick you'll ever meet.
Jocelyn: Met her through Zach, but she's pretty cool. And the tomboy of all the girls.
Zach: We call him, the chainz, only because he loves chains so much.
and
Robert: My ex, he broke up with me, but he's still one of the sweetest boys I know besides Austin, he actually introduced me to Austin.
"Hello everyone." I say in my best British accent.
-Hi
-Hey
-Sup
-Yo
-Hola
"I'm not sure, if you guys heard--"
"About the Jimmy show? Yeah, we've all heard." Robert says
Sadie kicks Robert under the table, and gives me a shy smile.
"Yeah, I know they where at the Jimmy show last night, Alex told me. But that's not what I was talking about, I meant the surprise party for Austin." I say
"Austin, doesn't like surprises though." Zach, the now third person saying that.
"I tried to tell her that this morning." says Sadie
I try to tell them something, but am interrupted with three girls coming over to our table, and I can't say anything because I really want the party to be private.
"Can we have your autograph?" One of the girls ask walking up to Zach and Robert.
Silence.
"Robert, Zach, they're talking to you. Answer them and stop looking at me." I say
"There talking to you actually." Jocelyn reassures me
I turn around looking up at the sophomore girls with their cheesy smiles. Why would they want my autograph? I know Austin, but hey everyone here knows Austin, especially Robert and Zach.
"Why me?" I ask
"You're Austin Mahone's crush, you must be really important to him, and when you date I want to be the first person who ever got the future Carter Mahone autograph." One says
"Where did you hear that?"
"Last night on the Jimmy show." Another says
I turn my direction towards Robert, now knowing why he wanted to bring up the Jimmy show. I turn back around to the girls and sign their oddly enough pictures of me and Austin they had.
"Thank you." One says crying
"You're welcome, but don't cry." I say
"I can't help it. You're going to be future Austin's girlfriend."
"I didn't say...no one said anything about dating."
"So you're not going to date him? He's famous though."
That pisses me off.
"Just because he is famous, doesn't mean anything. You have to take in people's personalities, their interest, their dislikes, their smarts. You don't date somebody because of their status in life and looks." I respond almost yelling.
"Whatever." All three girls say walking off.
I really want to go take the photos and rip them up in front of their faces because they truly don't deserve them. But that would mean I'm no better than them.
