Austin and I return downstairs to find Dave has left, Mama Mahone trying to look at Alex's injuries, Reba standing by holding Alex's hand, Jocelyn trying to talk to Sadie but Sadie not wanting to talk, and Zach trying to get Robert off the couch and take him home.
"I'm going to help Zach take Robert home, you wanna come?" asks Austin taking in the same scene as me.
"I don't know, I don't want to interrupt you guys and your manly time."
Austin laughs, "Carter please do not ever say 'manly time' it sounds weird and doesn't exist."
"Then the foolish four time?" I ask
"That's better, but it's technically tribal 3 time since Alex is staying here."
"Yeah, I think I'll just stay here." I say walking towards Reba.
"Nope, no you not." says Austin
Austin walks up and lifts me up off the living room floor, and takes me to Zach's car.
"I thought we discussed you wouldn't do that anymore." I say buckling in while Austin helps Zach buckle Robert in.
"When did we discuss that. I don't think I was part of that conversation."
"We talked about it the first time we met." I said
After helping Zach with Robert, Austin opens the right door backseat and enters and buckles up. Then turns to look at me.
"Don't pretend you don't like me picking you up. I know it's a great view back there."
"Will you to stop flirting, and make out already." Zach says now getting into the car and starts the engine.
"I think that's already been accomplished." Austin smiles
"Where am I?" Robert asks slurring his words.
"Robert just go to sleep man, we're taking you home. It's been a long day." Zach says
"Whatever man. Did I touch Carter's ass or was that a dream?" Robert slurs
"I'm right here, and no you didn't." I speak up
"Oh, well just come on up here and sit on daddy's lap."
My mouth drops to a perfect o. I know Robert is drunk, and probably won't remember any of this in the morning but how can he talk to me like that.
"Don't worry about him, he's drunk, and probably doesn't know what he's saying." Austin says
"I know perfectly what I'm saying Mahone. Now where's my bitch?" Robert says
"Now you're calling me a bitch?!" I shout
"Carter, calm down." Austin says
"No, not you stupid. My actual bitch."
"Who are you talking about?" Austin asks
Sadie is the last word that slips from Robert's mouth before he huddles over and throws up.
