~Jazmine~
"You reek of guilt and despair." Emmett says flatly.
"Well I was almost murdered before I drove here, and then had to turn around and kill them. That and I'm probably going to have to take care of Jayson at midnight because he decided that he was going to run off looking for chimeras and he got bit. His ego is too big for him to do his job so I'm probably going to have yet even more blood on my hands." I retort bitterly.
"Now I'm sensing anger." He smirks slightly before I punch him in the shoulder. He chuckles slightly. "That actually kind of hurt." I punch him in the gut and he doubles over.
"What about that?" I smirk cockily.
"Oh yeah, that felt lovely." He says, pain flowing through his voice. I pat his back gently. "You're a real bitch sometimes daggers, you know that right?"
"That I do." I reply. "And now you reek of pain, irony, and I think a hint of sadness at the sudden punch your ego just took."
"Sometimes I forget you're part lycan." He says.
"So do I. So do I." I say the sad truth.
"I'm pretty sure we all do." Jake states. I check the time and sigh.
"One hour." I whisper.
"Until what?" Bella asks.
"Until I have to take care of Jayson myself." I reply. I hear a signal arrow and furrow my brows. My phone chimes and I check it. "Or not."
'Jayson did it. We didn't say anything. He chugged a bottle of vodka then disappeared. Lydia went downstairs on a hutch and there he was.'
"Well, looks like Selene is going to have to go out and get more liquor." I state.
"You're using your alias as a crutch Jazmine." Jake says.
"Who knows, I might run into Douglas while I'm out. That's bonus points because he won't be teaching a class." I shrug.

I get out of the Suburban and walk into the liquor store. I slightly flip the blonde hair over my shoulder and browse the aisles. I grab a bottle of vodka and walk toward the counter. I set down the bottle and the man looks up at me.
"ID please." He says in a dull voice. I grab Selene's ID and show him. "25.56." I grab twenty six dollars and place them on the counter.
"Keep the change." I say. He rolls his eyes and puts the bottle in a paper bag. I grab the bottle and walk out of the store. I place the bottle in my passenger seat and close the door.
"Selene?" I turn around and flash a smile.
"Tony, hey. Didn't expect to see you here." I greet.
"I didn't take you as much if a drinker." He furrows his brows slightly.
"It's not often, but it helps erase memories." I state.
"Yeah, stuff like that takes a toll on you." He sighs. "School should be back in by next week."
"Good, I only have a limited time, until Aaron gets better, then I can't finish my lesson. The kids seem to be interested in it, even though they've only taken a preassessment." I smile.
"What are you teaching about anyways?" He asks. "The kids talk nonstop about your class."
"Lé bête de Geveduan." I reply. "I was fascinated with it when I was their age, and Wikipedia doesn't tell the real story so I figured I'd teach them the real story. It also means they can't google the answers."
"What's the real story then?" He quirks a brow.
"Do you believe in the supernatural Tony?" I ask quietly.
"In fact I do." He replies.
"Lé bête was believed to be a giant wolf with rust colored fur, but when they looked in the mud at the tracks, the paws turned into footprints. They weren't even really paws though, they look more like giant feet with claws at the tips. Like a werewolf." I smile slightly. "The internet doesn't have who really killed le bête anyways. It was a woman by the name of Marie Jeanne Valet, most commonly known as The Maid of Geveduan." I bite my lip slightly. "You know during your sixth period planning you could come over and sit during my lesson."
"I may just have to do that." He smiles.

I walk slowly through the school with my crossbow looking around for any sign of a killer. I hear claws drag and hold the crossbow ready to shoot. I turn a corner and my eyes glow. In front if me stands a teenager, spikes coming from his arms, eyes pitch black, and claws. It walks toward me slowly and I pull the trigger in the crossbow. The arrow launches into his his throat and he falls to the ground. Black and silver liquids pour from the wound, his eyes, nose, mouth, and ears. Chimera. I pull the arrow from his throat and leave the school. I stare at the arrow before placing it on a table and taking the liquids off and put them in a vile. I set the vile in a safe place and clean the arrow. I open the bottle of vodka and take a sip. I roll my lips before looking out the window with a slight frown.
"You killed one didn't you?" Avery asks.
"Yeah, right after I left from here. I think it might be the one who attacked Jayson." I reply.
"Did you ever find Douglas?"
"Yeah, he was at the liquor store. We talked for a while, he didn't seem suspicious though."
"That's good."
"Not really."
