45. Ender's Game

~Jazmine~

I cut off the head of the man in front of me and smirk before moving to the next one. A bullet for through my side and I grunt, dropping the katana and falling to my knees. I pick up the bow in front of me and an arrow before firing it upward. I fall back onto my back and stare at the sky as it darkens.

"Jazmine come on, get up." Lydia says rushing to my side. "Come on, we're getting out of here."

"Go." I order. "Go without me. I'll be fine."

"What!?! No! I'm not leaving you! No man gets left behind." She exclaims.

"I gave an order dammit! Go without me, get everyone else out of here!" I demand.

"No, if you're not leaving neither am I. I said I was going to stand by you, I'm not leaving you here. Ask me not to leave you, or to return from following you. For where you go, I will go. Where you lodge, I will lodge. Your God, will be my God. Your people shall be my people. Where you die, I will die and there I shall be buried." She states.

"No, you're going to leave me here and get everyone else the hell out of here. I asked you to stand by me, and you have, now I'm asking to one last thing. Get them out and you stay with them. I will be alright, Lydia. Ignore the voices in your head."

Ten Years From Now...

"ALLONS!!!" I yell nocking another arrow.

"One by one." It whispers.

"LACHE!!!" I draw back.

"One by one."

"ALLONS LACHE!!!" I aim in random directions.

"We're going to kill all of them." I fire and it explodes with sparks.

"COME ON!!!" This time it turns to a roar.

"One. By. One." A green aura surrounds me as I scream from anger.

"Jazmine!?!" A voice calls out from behind me.

"COME ON!!!" I boom firing another arrow.

"Jazmine!"

"We're going to kill all of them Jazmine, one by one."

"LACHE!!!" I yell before pulling the arrow out of my boot and drawing back.

"One by one."

I release the arrow and watch it soar toward a tree. I hear someone screaming my name as the arrow explodes, along with tree and the ground surrounding it. My body crumbles to the ground as the world fades out to nothing.

Present Day...

I slowly manage to climb to my feet and look around. I nod before turning and walking off toward the Impala. I run my hand across the hood and up the windshield to the top before patting it a few times. I open the door and climb in. I stick the keys into the ignition and start the car. I turn on the radio before cruising back towards the house. I twist the dial turning the song up as I drive down the road. I drum my fingers on the steering wheel and slightly hum along to the song. I pull onto the road and take a deep breath. I pull up to the house and shut off the Impala. I get out and put the keys in my pocket. I walk to the door and it flies open, arms greeting me.

"I told you I was fine Lyds." I state.

"You said it yourself, banshees don't predict danger, what was I supposed to think?" She says squeezing me.

"I know." I sigh.

"Does this mean it's over?" She asks. I nod.

"Yes, it's over." I reply. "You and Sean can go do whatever, whenever, until something else comes up, you're free to go."

"Oh, we're staying here. We'll go out on dates and stuff, but other than that you're stuck with us forever." She states. I smile at her.

"That's fine by me."
