"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Trust me, you'd have to see to understand." Devonté replies.

"Its that bad?"

"Oh yeah, right now she's just laying on the floor talking to the carpet."

"I'll be there in a few a minutes." I state.

"Okay. I think I can handle her for that much longer." We hang up and I roll my eyes before grabbing a jacket. I grab the keys to the Impala and drive toward the Argent place. I pull in and get out. I go inside to find Jazmine laying on the floor, still having a conversation with the carpet.

"Dear God, Jazmine, get up and have some respect for yourself." I say.

"I'm trying to have a conversation here!" She yells over her shoulder before returning her attention back to the floor. "I know right! He's such an ass." She whispers. I walk over and pick her up before sitting her on the couch.

"This might hurt." I state.

"What are you going to do?" Lydia asks.

"Trigger the healing process." I reply breaking Jasmine's arm. Her eyes turn bright green before she glares at me.

"You broke my arm!" She growls.

"It was the quickest way to sober you up." I state.

"What the hell Jake!?! Maybe I deserve a break every once and a while!"

"That's why we went to France."

"One hell of a break that was!" She throws her arms in the air and lets them fall to her sides. "It was more of a business trip than anything, and then Kolon got bit and everything was falling apart. That is not a break."

"Jazmine-"

"Don't you Jazmine me Jacob. I know how much is too much. It would've wore off soon, unlike that one time you decided to ignore me for six months just to drown yourself in alcohol all because of her. What I did would've been over with, what you did won't."

Chimera. If I hear that bloody word one more time, I'm going to kill something. My mind wanders to the girl locked in the basement of the house. I grab my keys and leave Jake a note before driving off.

When I get there, I go straight downstairs. I unlock the door and slide it open, closing it behind me.

"Is this how you treat family now Jazmine? You lock them in cellars and starve them?" Katherina spits.

"All you had to do was ask for something. This room is rigged with cameras, that are always on." I state.

"What is up with you a videotaping the torture of your family?" She asks.

"So I can relive it, it gives me joy watching you all suffer." I reply with a sick and twisted smirk.

"And you dare call yourself a protector." She shakes her head.

"I am, I protect what can't protect itself. It's law." I state. "So, sister, are you going to talk or am I going to have to force it?" I circle her tied down in a chair. They come down every now and again to let her walk the room.

"Try me." She smirks.

"Where's the alpha?" I ask. She sits silently and I grab a fistful of her hair. "I'm going to ask again. Where is the alpha?" I growl in her ear.

"You'll never find him. Not until he finds you, and he kills you." She replies through clenched teeth.

"Alright then." I nod walking away from her, releasing her hair. I stand in front of a table covered with weapons. I grab a dagger and walk back to her. "How do you know the alpha anyways?" I twirl the dagger in my hand.

"That's classified information." I press the dagger against the throat.

"Who is he and how did you find him?" I sneer.

"I'm not answering that." I press the blade harder against her skin.

"Oh, you will." I smirk. "Who is he?" She sits still. "Look here bitch, I will end you now answer the goddammed question."

"Never." The blade breaks skin and she tenses.

"Are you gonna tell me or am I going to have to keep going?"

"Burn in hell." She spits. I move the dagger and walk back to the table. I trap the propane torch and turn the valve before igniting it. I walk over to her and wave the flame in her face.

"Hope you like fire." I smirk before holding it against her arm and burning an x into it. She screams and I finish my art then shut off the torch. "How about some cold water, yeah?" I walk back to the table and press a button. Cold water splutters out over her, each time the button goes in more falls. I set the button down and walk back over to her. "Hmmm, looks like that's gonna scar." I look up into her eyes. "Where's the alpha Katherina?"

"I'll never tell you." Her teeth chatter as she speaks.

"Alright, well, enjoy your time then. I'll see you soon." I turn and walk to the door. I leave and lock the door behind me.
