~Jazmine~

"I need the girl." I state crossing my arms.

"Forget about it." Bella snaps.

"You do realize that I am the one thing that stopped everyone from being ripped apart by wolves that night right?" I retort. "None of you would be here if it weren't for me."

"Why do you need her specifically?" Rosalie asks.

"She's very special. She has a rare gift that I need to bring Devonté back." I reply.

"You can't bring someone back from the dead." Bella says. "It's impossible."

"You do realize that you were dead right? No pulse, nothing, dead. That and I can give examples, Marie Jeanne, Chris, Ryder, Marcello, Jacquelyn Argent, Malakai Parker. The list continues on, so who says I can't pull Devonté back? I know how to do it, but I need her." I state. "Savvy?"

"And you're sure you can do this?" Esme raises an eyebrow.

"Yes, I wouldn't risk it otherwise." I say. "So, I will fight for it if I can't have her willingly. Nothing will happen to her, she's just a guide, but I'll die in the process of pulling Devonté back without her. She has the ability to open a gateway to get me in and out with enough time. Without her, I can get in, but I can't get out with Devonté without it putting me into a coma while my body slowly shuts down then sets itself on fire."

"Bring her back in one piece." Edward says. Bella gapes at him and Renesmee smiles at me.

"Come on kid, let's get this over with."

I pace the floor with my thumbnail in my mouth. I pull my hands away from my face and take a deep breath. I look over at the tub and nod to myself.

"Alright, let's get this over with." I state rubbing my hands together.

"I've never seen someone so ready to die." Avery says with a flat tone.

"Ha ha, I just want this out of my way." I retort.

"Wait, how's Lydia supposed to know the difference between dying from going under and something bad after?" Jackson asks.

"It's a different feeling, and we have Renesmee to tell the difference." Lydia replies.

"Do we know how long she could be under?" Sean asks.

"It could vary, but anything over four hours and get me the hell out of there." I reply.

"How do we get you out and wake you up?" Avery questions.

"That's another reason we have Renesmee, she can force Jazmine back and we can her out." Lydia states.

"Four hours seems like a bit much to be essentially dead." Fergus says.

"Some people have gone sixteen, once even thirty six. But I'm cutting it short to four hours." I state. "Savvy?"

"Alright, let's get this over with." Jake says crossing his arms. "Before I start getting more second thoughts on this." I walk over to the tub filled with ice water and take a deep breath. I step in and try not think about how cold it is. I exhale sharply as my body starts to shake from how cold it is. I get goosebumps and my eyes start to glow. I sit down completely in the ice water and my skin starts to turn green. I exhale and I can see my breath. Jake places a hand on each of my shoulders and gently squeezing them. Renesmee and Lydia nod and I take one last breath before my body returns to normal and Jake pushes me under. I exhale just before I go under and water surrounds my whole body. My lungs begin to burn from the lack of oxygen and my head starts to pound. My heart beats like crazy in my chest and I force myself to stay human. My body feels like it's on fire and a loud ring starts in my head. My heart starts to slow down and give out slowly. The pain and burning stops, and suddenly, I'm falling.

I suck in a breath before water surrounds me again. The water is murky and I try to swim upward. Something wraps around my legs and I look down to find two hands wrapped firmly around my ankles. I push away and swim up to air. I push myself out of the well and fall onto the snow covered ground. I exhale and my breath shows. I slowly rise to my feet and walk to the door of the pub. The door opens and a woman pulls me in quick.

"What are you doing outside? It's freezing! Look at you! You're soaked! Have you gone mad!?!" The woman says before dragging me into a room. "Let's get you cleaned up." She hands me a towel, a set of fresh clothes, and a blanket. I change into the dry clothes after drying off and wrap the blanket around myself. "What were you doing by the well?" She asks.

"I don't know." I reply.

"You know that's dangerous, were you aiming to get yourself killed?" She brushes my hair.

"No."

"That was a very, very stupid thing to do." She starts braiding my hair. "Don't you ever do that again."

"I won't."

"Now, come along, they're waiting for you." She leads me back into the main room of the pub. Everyone starts cheering as I walk in and a man walks over and wraps an arm around me.

"You're back, I've missed you dear." He smiles. I shake my head and push him away.

"This isn't real." I state.

"Honey, how hard did you hit your head?" He asks stepping toward me.

"This isn't real. This is all fake. I don't even know who the hell you people are." I snap pushing him away and stepping back. "This isn't real."
