"How are you feeling?" It has been a day already since you saved Itachi and although he didn't like the idea of resting, he had no choice.

"It's fine." However he seemed rather desperate to leave this place, though something kept him here other than his injuries.

Your own are almost gone so what you need is to replenish as much chakra as possible and also store more in the chakra stones, they're almost out of it. "I'll be fine by tomorrow so that if you want to leave, I can cure the rest of your wounds."

The male didn't even utter a word, he simply closed his eyes and nothing else. With a sigh, you walked out of the room and closed it. It was only the two of you, Goro left a few hours ago to buy what was needed. It was a torture to stay inside all of the time, but it was necessary until things calmed down.

Hours passed and soon Goro arrived with plenty of food and necessities. As soon as he entered, a warm smile appeared on his face, and it was welcoming but odd. "This should last us at least a week."

"Any information?" You've been hidding for years so this wouldn't bother you, but you're worried about many things, your parents among them.

Goro's smile dropped from his face as his eyes looked around him and away from you. "I did, but none related to Kabuto. I did however," he paused as hi turned to face you," heard of something quite peculiar. The Kazekage is sick, an illness that is rather unknown. His sister has been looking for you."

Gaara sick? You knew him from before but from what you've been told, he has changed and for the better. So you're hesitant about what to feel now about the situation. "Did they contact Sakura? I've heard she's quite talented."

"They did, but she's unable to do anything even Tsunade wasn't able to help him." He frowned now taking a minute to read your expressions. "They're worried he might even die, and although your practices as illegal, they're still in search for your help."

Shaking your head, you walked to a chair and sat down. Goro did the same seeing it was pointless to just stand there. "Even if I wanted to help it's best to stay put." There's that guilty feeling but you have to brush it off, you can't help everyone. " Besides tomorrow I'll take care of Itachi's wounds so he can leave whenever he wants."

Eventually Itachi was cured but he stuck around  who knows why. However as the days passed, the need to find you increased. Gaara was getting worse and you were sought after. Just like Itachi said, people would want to use you especially when you didn't have anyone other than Goro to help you.

However when it came to curing Itachi's wounds, he said nothing but he didn't attempt to leave the place. He did leave, but then returned soon after with things for the three to use. Despite the lack of communication, he intended to stick around as long as possible. Though you could not complain, the more the better.

A week passed by with no news about anything important other than the source for your help. Apparently Gaara wasn't getting any better and if not treated on time, he would die. Of course, how could they treat him when they didn't even know what he had?

It was one afternoon when Goro returned from his routine of finding any information. That day he entered in a rather panicked state, he flung the door and shut it the instant he was inside. You met him, however he tried to keep his eyes away from your gaze. But he wasn't as calm as he usually is, so you knew right away that he was certainly not okay.

You watched him carefully until he finally decided to speak. "What's wrong?"

He seemed calmer now, and as if on cue, Itachi entered. But he just took a seat and simply watched waiting for Goro to speak. Whatever affected the two of you, it will now affect him too.

The green eyed male exhaled before he fixed his eyes on yours. "They know where we are. Temari has been searching nonstop for you, I don't know how but she found me. I was going to flee but she said she had a proposition." The long pause was for you to digest what he just said. "She said that she would allow you to help them and in return, she will allow all of us to become citizens of the sand village." Those green eyes glanced at Itachi. "She mentioned that someone was staying with us and she's willing to let you stay as well, but I gave them a fake name."

They knew? Pursing your lips, you looked at the ground in concentration.

"We'll flee then." It was your response, you've had enough of being used.

"She said that if we did that, she'll put a bounty on our heads." Goro explained the concecuences.

If that's the case, then you didn't have much of a choice. A growl escaped your throat as you realized that you couldn't just escape. It would do you all no good if you decided to leave, but if you stayed as a recident of The Sand Village then the protection is much better. " I see, if that's the case then I'll go. Let's make sure that your identity stays hidden." The dark obs of Itachi watched you with a hard look.

"In that case, I should depart ways." His dark and manly voice informed as he stood up.

"Why?" You were surprised to ask such a question, your mind reacted on it's own.

The males gave you their full attention. "Once they find who I am, it would bring you trouble."

"No. Listen, we're already in trouble and wether you decide to come with us, it wouldn't make a difference."

Goro nodded. "Like I  told [Name], we'll protect each other. I understand  you're strong enough to do so in your own, however, it would wiser to wait until you decide whatever you wish to do."

The black haired male watched the both of you, and maybe he already had decided what to do but once he heard what you both said, he probably changed it. "Very well." And he left to his room.

"Did you give them a time?" Now content with Itachi's response, you asked Goro.

"Tomorrow as soon as the sun is rises."

" Good, then it's settled. Let us rest, we will need it." With that in mind, you both retired to the same room. You headed to the bed, while Goro rested on the floor.

Tomorrow will definitely be a difficult day, maybe it would be best but deep down you knew why they wanted you as a recident. With your abilities you'll be of great use, it was for their own benefit. But you'll welcome the protection for the moment, and you can't wait to get out of this place. With that in mind, you drifted off to sleep.
