"No!" You didn't want him to find out, but he did. Now Goro is passing back and forth. "You can't go back to him, Gaara is doing whatever he can to help you, you can't give up."

Taking a deep breath, you shook your head. "I'm not giving up, that's why I'm doing this. If I don't, then I'll be giving up. You know that if I stay, I'll die."

The male's eyes begged you to say that it's some sort of joke. But deep down he knows that it's true. "Then if you do, I'll go with you."

No matter how determined he looked, you won't allow him. "No, if you care for me as much as you say you do, you'll stay."

Oh no, he's not giving up just yet. He grabbed your shoulders as he stared down at you. "You don't understand." The voice softened just like his gaze. "Do you really think I joined you just because I wanted protection as well?" You had a feeling where this was going and you're not sure you like it. "Once I left, I became of no importance to Kabuto, I searched for you because... Because" however it was much more difficult for him to say it, so instead, he acted. He dove in, grasping your face with both of his hands and  crashed his lips with yours. It was just a peck, but enough to let you know what he meant.

"Goro..." He let go of your face and stepped back.

"Let me support you, please." He was showing so much emotions that he couldn't contain it.

However, you haven't thought about loving anyone and if you accepted his offer it would only be giving him hope for something that you're not familiar with."Listen, you have your own family and I can't take that from you. He remained silent just watching your face as if trying to engrave your features on his brain. He extended his arm, as if to shake your hand. "Promise me you'll come back, this is your home."

Even in this type of situation, he still amazed to remain calm. "You can bet on that." With the help of the woman, you walked forward to shake his hand.

The moment you stepped away from that village, that was the moment you decided to find a cure. Like hell you'll die, you have your parents and Friends. You do regret though having to see Goro so heartbroken, in all honesty you would have preferred not knowing what he felt. Now you'll have to deal with that memory for who knows how long. With that in mind, you started the new journey to bring you back to health.
