The trip back to the Sand Village wasn't short especially without Goro. But even so, you don't regret leaving him back, what you went through was something that you needed and you knew how he felt about having to see Kabuto. To have a loved one in danger is no easy thing, and it was for the best. You didn't want him to suffer once more.
This time you went through painful procedures, and this time Goro wasn't around. However to say that you were alone would be a complete lie. Kabuto was with you at all times, keeping up with the process and making sure that nothing happened.
To this day, you can't bring yourself to hate him. You cannot say that you like him, but you can't say that you hate him either. Because for better or for worse, he's the one who has helped you. Of course he can say that you provide him with knowledge, but really, is that all he can get out of it? Who knows. But as much as you dislike it, he has provided much more help than anyone else has.
After the three years of having to stay close to that male, you came to know him a little better, actually more than you would like. He's just a contradiction of personalities but from what he has been able to tell you, it's pretty much from his spying days. It's rather even more surprising that he was willing to tell you some parts of his past.
But then again, he has spent most of his life as spy so it's rather hard to decipher his real personally. Taking a long breath, you kept jumping. The journey back is around two weeks away from the San Village and more days to get from there to Konoha. Only another week to go by and you'll be greeting Gaara and possibly Goro, that is if he has stuck around.
Not too far however, the sound of battle was loud to be ignored. On your way here you've encountered many battles ones you've participated in others you've kept yourself away from but you can sense familiar chakra.
Upon landing on a branch of a tree a few meters from the battle, you crouched to get a closer look. A smile instantly appeared on your face as you recognized the familiar Raven colored hair, those black eyes as dark as the night and who can forget the signature of the Uchiha Clan. There in front of you stood none other than the only survivors of the Uchiha Clan.
Ah, the brothers changed a lot. You hadn't taken your time to actually look at their handsomeness before, but for you know they were very good looking. Now though, now they look much more mature and their feature much sharper much more handsome. If they didn't hold that stoic expressions all the time you're sure girls would be always around.
A group of seven enemies faced them, some of which appeared to be lacking battlefield experience. They can more than handle it themselves, but why not let them know about your presence instead of alarming them?
Two of the enemies were just standing back as if analyzing the battle or simply waiting for an opportunity to attack, an opportunity that even if existed, you wouldn't allow to happen. You took out two kunai and ready to fight, you lunged down from the tree, a cape fluttering by the wind caused by the wind, and then for you only to keep running at your fastest speed. One of them didn't even know what hit them, quite foolish of him. The other turned just in time to jump back as your kunai slashed the air.
The man's eyes widened upon seeing you, however, he lunged forward with a dagger. His dagger was moved to stab you in the middle probably looking to end the battle soon, but only to have you move back. Your body flashed for an instant only to appear at his back, slashing all the way down leaving a long and red gash. The male hissed as he turned around already too late, he staggered back with his dagger threatening you.
As he struggled to stand back into a fighting position, you bombarded him with various attacks, one after another leaving him no time to even think. You swung your kunai as hard as you could to the side and throwing the dagger a meter or so from the male's grip. Spinning around, you kicked him on the side of the head sending him to the ground. Once on the ground, you jumped up headed for him. Both kunai were digging on the man's chest, and just to make sure that they were deep enough, you twisted them and pushed down. There were a few cracks as you twisted the weapons, not long after the male was on the ground; his life already taken by you.
