The Missing Pieces(A Naruto Reader Insert)

Kabuto to the Rescue!

The entrance of the village has never been this guarded before. You're standing in front while Itachi and Sasuke stand at your left. Goro, Yun and Aki stand at your right. Even the trainees stand guarded.

A soft sigh scapes your lips as you wait for Kabuto to approach. He's standing in front of you, but not completely I side. "Come on, is something the matter?" You ask walking forward.

The male watches you as you get closer. There's a bag on his shoulder which he fixes after it began to slide off his shoulder. "I apologize for not coming earlier, otherwise you would have been cured by now."

You smile now as you study his face. "What got in your way?"

His small smile slides off his face upon remembering something. "That man has been getting on my way." Of course you know, though names are unknown.

"Tell me something Kabuto." You begin as you stare at the bag. "Did you spend this whole year trying to find the cure?"

His eyes just move around watching your face as if trying to remember every single detail of it. "I have but that does not matter."

You trailed your eyes to the object not his attention once he shifted it from you. They land on the ground that is on guard. If possible, they would have been holding their weapons. "Come, we prepared a place for you to stay. The hospital has a spare room that you can use." However, he doesn't move so you grab his hand and pull him to the inside of the village.

Once inside, the doors close. Ah, you're proud of yourself. Upon becoming the leader, you made sure to create gates around the village for protection.

As you begin to walk, no one says anything. But you hear the others following, but Sasuke and Itachi are gone to investigate and make sure that a danger is close to the village.

"Take me to the hospital." Finally the man says.

Sure enough, you take him there and as soon as you both enter the room, he places the bag on a table. He digs inside of the bag and takes out several things and different liquids. "Is that it?"

He stops to give you his attention. "Yes, this is it. However, I will need a few things from the hospital."

"Take whatever you need." You motion with your hand as you lean against the wall.

There's a bed at the corner of the room, he motions with his hand for you to take a seat. Once your closer to the bed, he helps you take off your coat. "I'll take a few blood and chakra samples before I begin the treatment." He walks back to the bag and retrieves a few syringe and begins to obtain the blood that he needs. Once that is done, he takes a chakra stone from your belt and an empty one from the bag. You know what he wants, so you start to store chakra on it. Once done, he places the items on the table and turns around to watch you.

"Before you really start, why don't you eat and rest a bit?" He did come back from a long trip after all.

His hair moves a little as he shakes his head. "There will be plenty of rest later. Tell me how you have felt?"

Raising an eyebrow, you just watch him. "It's pain and nausea but I have been controlling it with the first set of pills that you gave me."

He nods. " I see. That's better than I expected. The cure that I created won't return your chakra to it's normal one. Since it's still too dangerous for you or those around you, all that I was able to do is to make your body accept it. With your intake of the pills and liquids that I gave you, your body has been conditioned to your chakra. With this," he grabs a liter bottle of liquid, "I'll make your body accept it. However, it will still be dangerous to anyone else."

"I see. For the mean time, I'll have some one prepare you something to eat and to prepare the house for you." You paused as you rose to your feet and putting back on the coat. "And I want no objections." With a narrowed gaze, you walked towards the door. "I'll have to leave for now but be ready, I'll send someone to get you." With that, you headed back to your office. There's still so much to do. Taking a deep breath, you head back satisfied of how things are turning out.

By the end of the day, you were required to meet once again with Kabuto.

As it was agreed, you returned that same day. However, you didn't return alone. Itachi would be at your side at all times while Sasuke and Goro would make sure that no danger will luck around the village.

"I don't trust that man, if anything strange, even if small, make sure to beat him into pieces." The green eyed man hissed.

Itachi merely nodded as you return to the hospital. Once outside, Sasuke and Goro remain there obviously unhappy they cannot remain by your side. "We will be around, make sure to alert us." The younger brother demands as they begin to walk away.

Taking a deep breath, you both begin to enter the hospital. On the way the nurses and other civilians greet you with a wide smile. Once you arrive to the room where Kabuto was left to work, you were surprised how the room has changed.

The most surprising thing is that now what was inside the room a tank with needles attached to it was installed. It was big enough for you to fit inside of it.

Kabuto looks tired but even so, he doesn't stop working. Once he notices that you're back, he smiles. "You know the drill."

Sighing, your eyes trail to Itachi who has made himself comfortable by leaning against the wall. Even if you ask him to leave, you know that he won't leave you alone with Kabuto.

You clear your throat. "Everything?"

Kabuto's eyes trail to the other man, and he shakes his head. "You can keep your undergarments, that is, if you ca-"

"I can." You then begin to take off your coat and as you start taking off your shirt, your eyes trail to Itachi you blush. His eyes scanned your form before he looked away to give you some sort of privacy.

How embarrassing to get exposed in such a way, but your grateful that you won't have to stand in front of both males naked. Once you are left in your undergarments, you approach the tank and Kabuto helps you to enter it. Once inside, he begins to attach the needles to your body. Within minutes, needles cover a few parts of your body like your arms, legs, abdomen, neck and at the side of your head.

Once he places a mask over your mouth and face, he shuts the door of the tank and after he pressed a few buttons, and the tanks begins to fill with some sort of liquid.

Soon after, Yun and Aki enter the room but as soon as their eyes land on your bare form, they blush. Their visit isn't surprising, they are just making sure that you are fine.

"How long will it take for her to get cured?" Aki asks as his eyes trail to your person a few times.

"At most, three days." The gray haired man explains as he takes a few pills from a container and pops a few inside his mouth. "I'll monitor her, you all don't have to be here." However, Itachi doesn't seem to be moving any time soon.

With a sigh, Kabuto takes a seat and waits. It won't be an easy task, but he's more than ready. He's more than ready, especially if you're going to be saved.
