The black haired male  blinked as he watched you lean forward and just stared at  him. Just his brother suggested, he searched for you, only to find you at the training grounds where he watched you train. It was simple, mostly hand to hand combat. He watched you train for around an hour before you decided to call it a day, or maybe because you noticed his presence. You then had approached him with a large smile and once you were facing him, you had taken his wrist in your hand and lead him to a small area with just green grass. You then proceeded to let go of his hand, and dropped down to the grass then patted a spot next to you.

Which is why he is now in such a situation where you were just studying him. “Is something wrong?”

Upon his question, you leaned even more to get closer to him, you then reached forward to touch his face. To be more specific as to what you were touching, the cracks on his face. His eyes trailed from your eyes to your lips which formed a deep frown. With your fingers, you trailed the cracks, and continued to just watch him. “Don’t worry, I’ll do whatever I can to give you your own body. Kira said that he’s working on something but he still has yet to tell me what I can do to help you.” Lowering you hand, you took a deep breath as your eyes took a saddened expression. Your hand, the one that had been touching his face curled into a fist. “I told Kira that I could try now but he said that I might die but you know what?” You raised your gaze to smile at him softly. “Even if I die, if I’m able to help you, I would gladly do it but he said that I would just die and at the end I wouldn’t be able to help you.”

For a moment, as Izuna watched your expression, one that held so much sorrow and pain, he felt…Guilty. You seemed like a kind and selfless person, one that would indeed sacrifice her life for the life of a friend.

“You wanted to speak to me?” In the middle of your meal, you had been informed that Kira wanted to speak with you at his lab. Without finishing your meal, you stood up leaving immediately. Although the man didn’t specify the urgency as to why you were being requested, you could tell by the alarmed and scared gaze.

On your way to the lab, your eyes scanned every single individual who seemed to be in a hurry. The amount of ninja, if you will, increased and some didn’t look too well. Furrowing your eyebrows, you quickened your steps. Once you arrived at the lab, you had to dodge a few who moved in and out of the room. Kira was busy, too busy since there were many beds occupied with many Ninja who were unconscious.

“What’s going on?” Walking to stand close to Kira and the patient that he was attending to, you glanced at the male but there didn’t seem anything strange about him. Yes, he was unconscious by other than that, he seemed normal.

Kira paused and straitened up only to take a deep breath after. “Their immune system, it crashed and is attacking the body at an alarming rate.” The explanation was short but it was enough to let you know what was going on. At first glance they seemed normal, but as time progressed many began to show signs. Some started to vomit and others had other signs like diarrhea, fever, and skin turning red then showing blistering.

“What do you want me to do?” There were so many medics already moving around trying to help whomever needed help. It was so strange how everything changed from one moment to another, one moment they were just laid there when suddenly hell broke loose.

Kira didn’t even stop, he kept ordering those around with a few curses here and there. “Leave, I’ll take care of it.”

Bumping a few times on some of the medics, you frowned as his request but it would be better than stand there and getting in the way. You could have helped but Kira may have other plans, so it would be bet just to leave. Taking a deep breath, you just walked outside with a deeper frown as the amount of the sick ones increased. You could have gone to your room but with the amount of activity inside, you wouldn’t get much peace. Instead, you just walked around and knowing that maybe those who had been given the task of keeping watch might get sick, you decided to walk around and guard as much as you could. Your new “home,” or the closest as it can get to that was well hidden but who knows who might attack.
