Ice Cream

Jade: Hey Matt, you busy today?

Matt: No, why?

Jade: I wanna hang out, let's go get ice cream or something.

Matt: Um sure, 2 sound good.

Jade: Alright see ya then.

Hmmm. Maybe I should script it out so that I don't chicken out of telling him. I should start with... 'Hey Matt, so I guess I'd better tell you before you find out from somewhere else...' yeah, that'll work.

By 2:00 I was sitting at the old ice cream place when Matt walked in, he got himself some ice cream and then joined me at the little booth. Now or never! ... is never still an option?

"Ok I need to tell you this before I chicken out, and I know you're gonna be mad so just try and chill a little," I said before he dropped his spoon.

The color drained from his face, "Oh god, are you pregnant?!" He exhaled looking scared of my answer.

I reached across the table and lightly slapped him, "You're an idiot! No, I'm not pregnant!" The look of relief washed over him so fast. Time to ruin that, "But you're still not gonna be happy, Me and...," deep breaths, "Me and Cameron are dating,"

He furrowed his eyebrows, "Cameron who? Cameron Morrik?" I nodded and looked down. He pulled out his phone and stormed out of the place. I just followed him and he seethed into the phone, "What the hell do you think your doing, my sister is not gonna get played by anyone you hear me... Of course I know, cause if you didn't I'd kill you dead... Fine, this conversation isn't over!"

He turned around and saw me. I grinned innocently. He rolled his eyes and got in his car. Guess he is a little angry. I went home and when I got there I plopped on the couch. Ah how stress relieving a good nap is, then the universe laughed at me as my phone beeped. I hate my life.

Cameron: Can I come over?

Jade: Since you asked politely.

With that he was over in about 10 minutes. "I see the ice cream party with your brother didn't go too well," he said.

"Nah dip. Did you two work it out?" I asked as lifted up my legs and sat beneath them on the couch.

"I guess, I explained to him that I'm gonna treat you well and if I ever don't he can through off the Grand Canyon," he shrugged, "Good thing is, he'd do it too."

I rolled over onto my belly and decided to take that nap. Cam just reached for the remote and watched tv while I snoozed. When I woke up cam was asleep too. I reached for my phone to check the time. I had napped till 11 at night, and on my screen was a bright text from Matt.

Matt: I SWEAR IF HE IS AT YOUR  PLACE IM GONNA KILL HIM!!!

Fate have it, just then there was very angry knock on the door. Followed by my beloved Matthew busting through the door, followed by my other big brother, three years Matt's senior, Brennan. "He's dead!" Brennan roared when he saw him just waking up.

I hopped off the couch, "Good to see you too. Been what 4 months since I saw you last?" I questioned trying and failing, to divert the attention elsewhere.

Cam stayed perfectly calm, "Hey, I'm sorry I just fell asleep watching tv. Nothing happened and nothing is gonna happen, alright?"

Brennan glared daggers at him, "Good, my little sister is staying a Virgin until either me or her is dead!" Why is he such an idiot?

"LEAVE!! You're an idiot! Nothing has happened, nothing will happen, you happy now?! Go!" I shoved both of brothers out the door and went back to the couch fuming. If those idiots ever do any sort of crap like that again I'll throw 'em off an overpass.
