My eyelids dropped, the air rushed from my lungs, my chest and muscles clenched. I took in a ragged breath as I latched onto my mate. Her newfound canines sank into my skin alerting the whole world to how I was hers.

Kaigen roared to the surface, a powerful growl ripping through my chest. He snarled in satisfaction. His mate wanted him. In that moment that's all he could comprehend. No words. No actions. Just the undeniable fact that his mate was accepting him.

My eyes flickered as my jaw clenched. A fire tore through my body forcing me to focus on things other than the wonderful revelation of how my mate felt. I balled my hands into fists in in the fabric of her shirt, careful not to touch her as my claws began elongating as I was loosing control of my wolf.

Jade must have noticed my distress because she carefully removed herself from my neck and stroked the back of my head and neck. "C-Cam, I'm sorry. Are you okay?" She was starting to panic as she frantically started looking around my face.

I shoved my face into the crook of her neck, nearly strangling her in a bear hug. "I could not be any happier," I mumbled into her hair. I pulled her outside with me, not willing to deny Kaigen his right to see his mate.

I left her on the porch and quickly sprinted a safe distance from her and let Kaigen take control. He ripped out out of my skin in an instant. His eyes shot to see his mate, to be captured in her gaze.

"Mine." The word barely slipped past her lips as she unknowingly stumbled forward. My wolf hurried to her side and rubbed his head against her. She sank to her knees and pulled me by the neck down with her.

Kaigen purred with joy, "All yours." Kaigen pushed himself deeper into her side as she hugged us close.

She pulled away from me and I couldn't help but glance up at her nervously, why would she leave. She took a few steps back then a small whimper left her as she shifted. I knew she wasn't completely used to shifting, but it was comforting to see her trying to get used to it.

'I-I want to leave' she whispered to Kaigen. In that moment I think my heart stopped. She... she wanted to leave us.

Kaigen whimpered to me, 'Mate doesn't want us. Mate wants to leave us. Why? What did we do?'

I had no answer. I couldn't fathom a life without her. How could I live...

She growled at us, 'You idiot! Why the hell would I leave you? No I want US to leave. I don't want to stay here... I'm sorry...'

Oh. Well I'm dumb. My bad, jumping to conclusions. Oops. 'O-oh. Ok that's... that's better. But yes. Sweetie we can leave, all you have to do is say the word and we're gone."

'Thank you.'

So guys. For anyone who's reading I know I've been MIA. Well I deleted wattpad for a while. I started to notice that no one really cared about my book and when I compared it to my friend's I felt even worse. But I'm back. I realized that I'm only writing this book for me and that I'm publishing it just for kicks and giggles. So... if you care. I'm back.
