How Does This Work

Cameron sat on the couch, mindlessly eating some of my new found favorite snacks, Takis. (I'd just like to take a minute and say that I am in love with these) He must have noticed me staring cause he turned to look at me with those beautiful eyes and perfect hair, "What?" It came out muffled from the food stuffed in his mouth and I couldn't help but giggle a little.

I calmed my girly laughs until all that was left of them were a goofy grin. It took me a minute before I remeber ed why I was staring at him, "So... I still don't completely understand, did all of those books on Wattpad get it right? Is there some giant society of werewolves living right under our noses? Are they organized into packs that have set leaders and ranks?"

The look on his face stopped me from continuing with my onslaught of questions. He kinda arched his eyebrow at me and looked a little... surprised I guess is the word. He sorta chuckled, "Listen, I don't know what Whatpad is or whatever, but there are a few werewolves out there. There are eight others in this town. I'm not sure if you would call us a pack, though. Sure we all know each other and are there for each other, but we don't really stick together unless we need to. That's kind of random, don't you think?" He questioned with an odd sideways smile.

I realized that it was kind of off the wall and shrugged. Oh well, he picked me up off the coach all of a sudden, "What are you doing?" I questioned in a really strange voice.

"I'm gonna go let Kaigen have a little run and you're gonna come with me." And why would I do that. I'm not some supernatural... thing.

Once he were outside he set me on the porch and said, "Leave the door cracked, I'll be right back." He then went back in the house and not a minute later the giant, gray, massive wolf thing trotted out. I took a minute to find out what he really looked like. I've been a little freaked out the last couple of times.

Kaigen had Cameron's gorgeous blue, he was mainly a dark gray, he did have white along his underbelly, chest, and paws. He truly was huge. When I was standing I came to its shoulders.

'All right, little bit... hop on!' You're stupid, HEEEEELLLLLLLLL NAH! Nope, I don't want to die today. I wasn't really planning on it! 'Once again, I still find it extremely offensive how little faith you have. I promise you will have never been safer than you are with me'

I promise if I die I will come back and haunt him till the day he dies, I promised myself. Kaigen shook his head playfully and bent down until I climbed onto eases his back. 'Alright, now lean over my back and gab my fur for dear life' I shuddered in fear and did as I was told.

Kaigen sort of wiggled to make sure I was settled and he trotted forward a few steps, in the blink of an eye he took off sprinting. My eyes grew huge as I saw the ground flying beneath me. I pushed my head deeper into his fur, holy-fart-ball!

'Why are you such a freak?' Why are you so sassy? He ended up stopping at a little river after a few minutes. I slowly climbed off of him and sat down peacefully. 'I like it here. I come here to think if I'm stressed, or to calm down if I'm angry. I found this place a long time ago. Not long after my first... change, I guess is the word.'

Hmm. What... what happened? 'Oh... well, it was kinda weird. Not long after my parents died, I started getting angry. A lot. One day... I was so mad. There was no real reason, everything just pissed me off more and more. When I got home I snapped. I started to feel this emmense pain and steadily it became unbearable. Why I still don't know but my instincts said to go outside. I did and ended up on the ground doubling over in pain. The next thing I new I was ok. And I wasn't me, I was Kaigen.' Wow. That's... wow.

Kaigen was now laid down next to me and I leaned against him. His fur was so soft and comforting. I closed my eyes in total tranquility as he let out this blissful rumble from his chest. I breathed deeply and reveled in the peace of having him next to me.

So today at school all the couples gave each other gifts and I sat there like, alright, I don't need you... forever alone. I can't really complain though, I'm kinda weird! Anyway, sorry my chapters keep getting suckier and I keep taking longer. It's hard to come up with ideas.
