The night came faster than I could have expected. All I knew was Cameron had been ridiculously happy and clingy all day. The poor boy wouldn't leave my side.
Before I knew it we were in his backyard. It was cold and dark, the only thing giving light to his perfect features being the moonlight when it struggled through the dense clouds.
I looked into Cam's eyes, a mix of anticipation, excitment, worry, and adoration greeting my gaze. He leaned forward slowly, just when I thought me and him were about to eat faces, he leaned down to my neck. Freaking tease.
He chuckled and murmured into the left side of my neck as his hand drug around my right shoulder. Every touch of his makes me more and more vulnerable and weak-minded. I became a mess everytime he got close to me, now being no exception. "Alright, are you ready, no going back. This is forever. You're mine, I'm yours. Forever," he stopped his little heart pour and just as I began to think of a response he continued with a husky drawl to his voice, "Who am I kidding? I was yours a long time ago. Every fiber in my body, every drop of my soul was yours far before you realized it. I've been at your whim, your every beck and call for years. I'm at your disposal, yours to cast aside if not pleasing to your wishes. If we do this though, if you let me claim you as mine, it will tear me apart to be cast aside. I'd still go if that was your wish, but I'd never be the same, my whole world would be gone. My whole reason for living. Every breath I breathe belongs to you. I'd... I'd be a broken man, struggling to get out of bed every morning knowing that the one little light of world doesn't want me, my world would end..." At some point in his speech his head lifted so I could see the heart-wrenching sencerity in his eyes.
I sniffled as my lips quivered, "You're an asshole. Why the hell would you make me cry like this? You know I love you more that anything in life. My biggest fear is that you'll get bored and cast me aside. You're so much more entertaining and charming than me, you could have any girl you want. All I hope for is that you're as eager about this as I am. If all you say is true, if you'll truly become mine, I'll never be happier than that moment: you'll never want to leave me."
His beautiful eyes burned into mine. Wordless communication of longing and desire flowing both ways between us. We silently agreed it was time and he leaned forward into my neck again. His nose brushed the of my neck before he pulled it down to where my shoulder, neck and back meet. He left a few delicate, heart felt pecks along the way and gave that little spot an open mouthed smooch. (That's my favorite word, it's so weird.) All too soon he mouth left my neck, disappointment flooded me. My eyes fought to open from the closed position they'd fallen from the joy of having him trail kissed down such a tender area.
Just as I got worried that something was wrong his grip on my shoulders tightened and his teeth found their way into the tender flesh. My body trembled as I gripped him tightly from the pain. My nails dug through his shirt and just when I felt a cry rising in my throat, the pain faded. Instead a sense of easiness and security over took my body.
I relaxed in his grip and he slowly pulled his animalistic canines out of body. A different chorus of feelings added to the ones I'd first felt. These were separated, an instinct deep inside of me recognized these emotions as Cam's at the moment: excitment, joy, and affection. These feeling all too soon were replaced by ones of shock and guilt.
His emotions filled me in with the words he couldn't think hard enough to form, he was sorry. Whatever he was sorry for was the only thing he could focus on, it took control of every piece of his brain leaving no room for anything else. His gaze never left my neck and it wasn't until his tounge lapped over the fresh wounds that I realized they were pretty big and still slightly bleeding. After a few more awkward kicks he seemed to be satisfied with his work because he grabbed my back roughly and slammed me into his chest. His grip on me was like a steel chained wrapped me against him. The only thing is, not a single part of me wanted him to let go, I wanted to stay there, covered with his warmth, compassion, and safety.
In the blink of an eye it was shattered. My legs gave out from underneath me and Cam nearly dropped me at the sudden shift in weight. He slowly pulled me to the ground as my body writhed in pain, by the time the first scream left my throat it occurred to me what was happening, I was shifting.
I've been a little distracted lately... you know, life and all.
