I woke up due to Landon poking me in the arm repeatedly. "Get up, it's Saturday." He said. I groaned, slapping his hand away and turning over. He yanked the covers from my body which was enough to make me get up because at some point during the night, I had taken off my pants. I spring out the bed and pull my shirt down, covering my black panties.

Landon's cheeks turn crimson and he quickly looks away. I want to laugh but I'm just as embarrassed as he is. "Sorry.." He mumbles. I fix my hair as he turns back around. He grabs me gently pulling me close and holding me in a wonderful hug. "Good morning, sleeping beauty." I take a tired deep breath and close my eyes, relaxing my head onto his shirtless chest.

I listen to his heartbeat for a while then pull away to go pee. I hear Landon leave as I go to wash my face and brush my teeth, and put my pants back on.

After I've done all that, I go to make the bed. While neatly placing the pillows, I begin to smell food. Now I haven't had a home cooked meal since I got here so I literally race down the stairs. A little fun fact about me, I'm the sportiest girl you'll ever meet. I'm not talking about cheer leading and dancing but more like football and ice hockey. At some point in my life I have tried every competitive sport there is, accept the girly stuff (no offense to anyone who dances, cheers, or does gymnastics). I dart every single obstacle obstructing my way, and leap over the kitchen counter, sticking the landing right behind Landon. He turns around looking for something but jumps back when he sees me there instead. "Ack. Where did you come from?" He asks clenching his chest.

"My mommy." I say innocently rocking back and forth on my feet. He reaches behind me, grabs a piece of bacon and feeds it to me. I munch on it experimentally, as if I were a taste tester. "Too salty," I lie. Landon's smile quickly faded as he opened his eyes wide and dropped his mouth open. "Just kidding!" I tease, pushing his chest away, not hard enough for him to even stumble backwards.

I slid the bacon over and jumped onto the counter, taking its place. "Why are you so perfect?" He says going back to his frying pan over the stove. "It's a condition." I shrug and sneak a slice of bacon. When Landon finishes cooking, I set the table and pour glasses of newly purchased orange juice. We sit across from each other as we eat.

"Today feels like a lazy day." I say with a mouthful of eggs.

"It will be then."

"Great, so lets curl up and watch a movie."

Landon licks maple syrup from his fingers, and as much as it should bother me, it was so attractive.

"Okay. What movie?" He asks.

"Something neither of us have seen before, on the movie channel or something." I say, scraping my plate for extra food.

Landon gets up with an empty plate and starts running dish water. I stop him by turning the water off and unplugging the drain. "I meant like right now." I say sliding my hand up his bare chest. He drys his hands and we walk over to the living room. I sit on the opposite couch from him. He notices that I'm shivering, due to the air vent right under my couch. "Come here." He says opening his blanket out to me. He lays out on the inside of the couch, and I lay in front of him, cuddled up under his protective arm and the soft blanket. We sit and watch a random movie until the doorbell rings, and I force him to get even though I'm blocking his way. Still he crawls over me and gets the door. Surprise, surprise, its my new friend Taylor. As I wondered how she got here, a tall boy with a cali tank top on came in behind her. Landon greeted the guy with a bro fist and invited them inside.

"Whoa." Taylor says looking around at my house. "This place is huge." I sit upright to greet them. "You must be Jered." I say grabbing everyone's attention. The guy puts his hands in his shorts pockets. "Yea, and you're Carmen, right?" I nod my head smiling. "I invited them over." Landon said. I make an 'o' shape with my mouth and they all come into the living room. Landon and I sit normally to prevent any awkwardness. We catch them up on the movie and just hang out for a while. When the movie ended, we decided to go outside to the golf course. "Wait!" I yell downstairs, finishing my loose curls and unplugging my iron.
