Landon's POV
Two weeks, five days, nineteen hours, forty-seven minutes and sixteen seconds. I have painfully sat in this lonely mansion for that long, with my love in a coma. Meanwhile, my friends have kept their distance from the house until further notice. Cameron has been lazily moping around the house while Jordan tries to help out in the best way he can. I felt a terrible weight on my shoulders. It was as if a giant boulder was laid on me and I couldn't straighten up or catch my breath entirely. I should have been weeping, but my heart had been ripped out and all that was left of me was a numb and slowly dying man.
The saddest thing that I had to realize was that my pack would be shredded to pieces unless I prepared for the worse. I had to come up with a plan, a way to get revenge on the ones who hurt the only thing I had worth living for.
Suddenly, a perfect idea struck. I could stage my death, making the attackers think that my pack was vulnerable. They attackers would be so confused, that they themselves would have to reevaluate their plans. I would need a bit of help from a few friends and I knew just how to do it.

"This way." I direct, Jordan, Jered and one of our strongest fighters, Derek following close behind in their wolf forms. When I find a good spot on the ground in the woods, I quickly lay down, taking a thick, sharp knife from pocket. The three wolves watch me as I plunge the dagger into my arm and pull it back out, letting blood spill all over my arm. Jordan slowly steps forward as I give him the command, the wound burning as if someone had just set my arm on fire.
I took a puddle of blood into my right hand and dabbed it onto Jordan's dark brown fur. He flinches slightly as I rub it around his mouth, teeth and paws. 'Ew.' He complains as the strong scent begins to kick in. "I know kid, but trust me. This'll work like a charm, as long as you can lie." I reply, smothering my blood all over him. When he was perfectly designed in blood, the plan goes into full effect. I yell out loudly in pretend pain, taking blood from my arm and plastering it on my throat. Jordan nods, before he goes sprinting into the woods, Derek and Jered chasing after him.
They run after Jordan at full speed, but still making sure that they don't catch up to him. I watch through Jordan's eyes as he runs right to the boundary line that divides my pack from the Moonstone territory. He backs away towards it cautiously as Derek and Jered creep closer, growling. As soon as Jordan crosses the territory line, the boys almost immediately turn and head back.
Suddenly the snapping of twigs catch Jordan's attention and he snaps his head toward the sound. A wolf slams into Jordan, knocking him off his paws and stumbling to the ground. 'Shift!' The wolf demands, still pinning Jordan to the dirt. Jordan does as he is told and is quickly handed a pair of worn out shorts by a human standing a few feet away.
The wolf shifts as well and puts on pants. After questioning Jordan harshly, they arrest him and shove him through the woods. The human who handed Jordan the clothes begins to talk, revealing his tobacco stained teeth. "Spencer, this kid pro'lly don't know what he's talking about. Yea, right he killed Landon! I call bull shi-" "Shut up!" Spencer says, irrated. "I don't care about what you think, Patrick!" He slaps the back of Patrick's head and mumbles.
***Jordan's POV***
I followed Patrick and Spencer into the woods until I caught scent of a water source. "Can I wash this off?" I ask looking to my hands that were currently being held in front of my body with silver handcuffs. They smell stung my eyes and nose as it also burned the skin on my wrist. I was too weak to shift not that I wanted to because I want them to think that they can trust me.
Nobody replies to the question but instead, I get pushed in the shoulder and told to keep moving. "Where are we even going?" I ask after a little while of awkward silence. "To see if that's real blood of the alpha." Patrick says with no sign of any emotion. I should be checking in with Landon but I figured that he was most likely watching all of this go down.
