Broken Walls [COMPLETED]

Chapter Eight

***Landon's POV:

I sat in the living room, listening to the boys take turns telling stories as we get used to Cameron and Dylan's company. I was enjoying my time until Jordan told an embarrasing story about that time he caught me singing in the shower. He described the moment in great detail as I felt my face turn red hot. I glanced over to my mate to see her dazing off into space as Taylor talk about whatever. I wish I could mind-link with Carmen the way I could with wolves, but I love her just the way she is. I began to feel angry that her brother was here because I wouldn't be able to show affection to my luna.

"Oh, hey Landon, I got you something." Cameron said searching for something in his pocket. He pulled out a small square box with a bow on it and handed it to me politley. I hesitantly reached for it and grabbed it from his hands. The room was silent as I removed the lid from the box, revealing an expensive black watch. I carefully removed it from the foam protection around it and examined it. "Thanks man!" I say flipping the watch over and putting on my wrist. I can hear all three girls getting off the couch together and coming to sit on the floor with us. Carmen excuses herself as she runs to the closet taking out an enormus bag, full of gifts for me. I couldn't love that girl anymore than I already do. The way her wavy hair swishes around as she walks and the way her blue eyes sparkle makes me want to tear her apart. Despite her tough looks, and her sporty personality, she was one of the most fragile people I have ever met and she makes me want to always be by her side to protect her. Compared to me, she's a baby kitten who can't roar yet.

She sits at my feet and I desperatley want pick her up instantly and put her on my lap to feel her warm little body, pressed to mine and know that she is mine and only mine. She sets the bag on her lap and I grabbed the first box my fingers touch. The label read 'to alpha, from Jay'. I chuckled and looked to Jered who was smiling calmly with Taylor on his lap like a child. I carefully unwrapped the box and slowly began to recognize what it was. "You're honestly the biggest butthole ever." I said as I examined the size adjustable golf club that was engraved 'golf for noobs'. Carmen laughed uncontrollably for about half a minute as she threw her head back onto my knees. I rolled my eyes but I couldn't be mad anymore because she was having fun and thats whats important to me. She looks at me and smiles making me want to cave in and mark her right now, but I know I can't which is more painful than anything.

I smile back, gritting my teeth so hard that they might shatter. She saw the pain in my eyes and knitted her eyebrows, handing me the next present. We go through the process of gift opening and I give my thank you's to everyone before taking a handful of the opened gifts into my hands and begin walking up the stairs. I hear Carmen walking up the stairs behind me as everyone is distracted with cleaning up rapping paper and other debris. I get to our room and throw the presents on the bed as she shuts the door gently behind us.

"Are you okay?" She asks looking into my eyes.

'Isn't she just so sexy. God, just rip her clothes of already!' My wolf says.

My wolf is a bit demanding when it comes to Carmen, but thats only because I'm alpha. If I wasn't, my jealousy wouldn't be nearly as bad on the inside (since I never let it show). I pin her to the wall and press my lips to hers. Her body stiffens at first but then it slowly relaxes as she begins to kiss me back. She rushes her fingers through my hair as I pick her up and rap her legs around me. I walk over to the bed, not once breaking the kiss and lay her down on her back. She takes it a step farther and begins to explore under my shirt.

"Is this the bathroom?" I hear a voice yell as the bedroom door swings open. I quickly pull away to see Cameron standing in the doorway. His face turns cherry red immediately, but not in an embarrassed way. He looks sincerely pissed as Carmen gets off the bed and stands behind me. "Dude! What are you doing to my sister?!" Cameron yells. I stand my ground knowing that I'm an Alpha being questioned by a human. "Cam, look-" I start. "No, dude! Stay away from her!" He cuts me off as he storms over trying to grab Carmen from behind me. My wolf takes over and utter chaos breaks loose.
