Broken Walls [COMPLETED]

Chapter Six

When I woke up, I was in Landon's bed comfy, with a room full of people. Taylor, Jered and Landon were all sitting on the bed whispering to each other. When my breathing picked up, they all turned to me. "Carmen's awake!" Taylor yelled until she was shushed by Jered and Landon. I laugh at her until I notice Landon is giving her the most evil look ever. "Get out." He says, pointing to the door. Taylor sadly stands up and walks to the door with Jered deciding to go with her.

Once they leave, I look over to Landon. "That was rude." I say shunning him. "No, it wasn't. I am their Alpha and they seemed to have forgotten that lately, I just haven't said anything for your sake." He says. I begin to remember what happened. I try to get out of bed, but my legs are so weak that I fall flat on my face. I can't even get up. "Carmen!" He yells running to help me. "Don't touch me!" I say trying to pull myself away, tears of fear were streaming down my cheeks.

"Belle." Landon said trying to get closer as I scooted away. "It's just me. The Landon that you've known since you were born." I shook my head trying to push the thought away. When my arms gave out, I couldn't move anymore. I was stuck and horrified but Landon still got closer. He knelt down and helped me to sit up as my hysteria began to fade away. "I'm not going to hurt you, Belle. I promise. Look at me in my eyes and you'll see that no matter what happens, I will protect you with all I have." I looked into his eyes and instantly felt a wave of comfort, and I rested my head against his chest. He kissed my forehead gently and picked me up bridal style, laying me back on the bed.

"Ok, I think I got it now. You're Alpha, and Jered is Beta of the 'Blazing Night' wolf pack. What else?" I ask him after he explains everything. We've been laying in the bed together for three hours almost and Taylor has been tending to my every need. "You're Luna." He adds. I sit upright and look at him as I slowly regain my energy. "What is that?" I ask. "It means that you're the female alpha." He says sweetly. "But we aren't like official or anything." I say laying back down to hear his heart beat again. "Your my mate. Like a soul mate, but for werewolves, it's much more serious. Like you said though, we are unofficial. But we are in the process of becoming official" He explains as he wraps his arms around me and rubs my shoulder. "What's the process?"

"I have to bite you right here." He says, gently pinching the skin between my neck and shoulders. "And then of course is the actually mating part." I ignore the lust in his voice and move on. "Then what?" I ask, laying back down and snuggling into him. "Then we will be presented to the pack as a mated couple, which is like being married."

"How long have we been mates?" I ask, taking it all in. "I've always liked you, but I didn't realized it until my first shift. I was around twelve or thirteen." He answers. "Is Taylor a werewolf too?" I ask. "No, and yes. Taylor was born a human, but she was changed. You're gonna ask how, but it's not my business to tell. Most people in this town are werewolves because this is our pack's territory." His last comment leads me to my next question. "What about back home?" "It's neutral between Blazing Night, and Moonstone." There's a knock on the bedroom door. "Come in!" I say weakly. "There is business to attend to." Jered says peaking into the room. "Oh right! I will be back Belle. An Alpha is a pretty busy guy." He says getting out of the bed. "Bye," I say as he shuts the door.

After a while of watching TV, I pull out my phone and call Taylor. "Hello?" She answers. "Where are you?!" I ask, twirling a strand of my hair around my finger. "At my house..." She replies confused. "Please come over, the guys left and I need a friend." I say desperately. "I'm on my way! And I have a surprise!" She says before hanging up the phone. A few minutes later, I hear the doorbell. I get out of bed now, fully energized and walk downstairs to open the door.

"Hey!!" She says squeezing me tight in a rib shattering hug. A person steps in behind her with a familiar shy face. "Ryann?" I ask, turning my attention towards her. "I found her at the mall this morning." I pulled out of the hug and my put my hand on the bridge of my nose. "Please tell me you didn't kidnap her, Taylor." Ryann giggled and shook her head. "Oh, no. She said that the Luna wanted to see me." That was the first time that Ryann voluntarily talked to me. "Oh, well I don't think I can really force you to hang out with us, but we'd like it if you did." I told her. She stared at us for a bit, but in the end, she decided to stay.
