Chapter Seventeen

REVEALING THE TRUTH

"Hello Harry." He started. "I knew you would follow. Come to help your friend." Sirius smiled.

"If you want to kill Harry you will have to kill us as well!" Hermione protested. Kerry and Sirius laughed.

"What's so funny?" Harry spat.

"Only one will die tonight Harry."

"Then it will be you!" Harry bellowed. He launched himself at Sirius but Kerry jumped in front of him. Harry's full weight slammed into Kerry and she fell backwards into Sirius.

"Ow! You idiot!" Kerry shouted. She shoved Harry backwards and advanced on him. "What were you going to do then Potter?"

"Hurt that man!" Harry answered. Hermione was holding his arm.

"Well don't bother. Don't even try it." Kerry retreated back a few steps and folded her arms across her chest.

"Now Harry. Listen to me!" Sirius ordered.

"Why should I listen to a disgusting, murdering traitor like you?" Harry retorted.

"Shut up Potter! Don't speak to him like that." Kerry pitched in.

"Oh and why should you care Yaxley?" Harry cocked his head slightly to the side.

"All in good time. Now all you need to do is listen and it will be sorted. Pretty simple really." Kerry smirked.

"Your probably as bad as him!" Ron spoke up. "Are you a death eater as well?"

"How dare you say that! I am no such thing. This man has done nothing wrong and he definitely isn't a death eater."

"Whatever Yaxley. We all know you are Snape's favourite." Hermione spoke.

"What did you say?" Sirius asked.

"She has a strong relationship with Snape. Don't you Yaxley?"

"I wouldn't say it was strong. We just get along is all." Kerry answered. "So what?" She shrugged.

"So what?" Sirius turned to face her. "You are friends with Snivellus?"

"Not friends. He is a teacher and I am a pupil. I've just never been in trouble with him and I respect him. Can we get back to the matter in hand?" She asked slightly embarrassed.

"Fine." Sirius sighed. He looked back at Harry and the other two. "Now you really need to listen to me Harry." Sirius started.

"No. I understand pretty clearly. You betrayed my parents and that's it. Just let me and my friends go and call the Dementors so you can rot away in hell." Harry argued.

"I agree with Harry." Ron said whilst trying to stand up.

"You'll hurt that leg more if you do that." Sirius muttered.

"I don't care. Anything to get away from you." Ron spat. Kerry could see the hurt in her fathers eyes. Obviously no one cared to hear his story.

Harry raised his wand along with Hermione.

"Now come with us and we can do this the easy way." Harry bargained. Kerry withdrew her wand and pointed it at Harry.

"Drop you wand Potter. You as well Granger." Kerry said. "We don't want to make this anymore difficult. Just listen to the man and you will understand."

"Merlin you are in denial. This man is a criminal Kerry." Hermione spoke exasperated. "He has obviously brainwashed you."

"It doesn't matter. Let's just get him back to where he belongs." Harry once again focused on Sirius.
