Chapter Twenty Four

Kerry watched happily as the Aurors dragged her uncle away. A group of students had gathered to watch what was going on as well. Sirius kept his arm around Kerry's shoulders and Remus stood by them.

"You'll pay!" Yaxley exclaimed. "Just wait dear niece! You'll pay!" The Aurors shut him up but that didn't stop Kerry's involuntary shiver.

"Come on Kerry, let's go inside." She nodded and they both walked inside and everyone stared after them.

"Jeez, what did I do to deserve that?" Kerry snorted.

They had gone to Remus' quarters to eat there. Kerry fell down onto the sofa with a sigh.

"I thought you would be happy Kerry." Remus smiled.

"Yeh, well. What if he escapes? Dad escaped." She shrugged. Sirius laughed and sat next to Kerry.

"Ha! Well that because I'm just that amazing. He doesn't have enough skills as me baby." He laughed and kissed the top of her head.

"Dad!" She whined. "This is serious."

"Yes, I am Sirius. When am I ever not?" They all laughed at that and decided to get an elf for some food.

"Erm, sausage and mash with gravy." Kerry ordered.

"Yeh, what she's having." Sirius grinned and Remus agreed.

"Just three of the same please Pinky."

"I'll be back soon with your meals." He bowed and then left.

"I've been thinking. Me and Draco are meant to be together, but he hasn't spoken to me or acknowledged me in two days." Kerry mumbled.

"Good, you don't need boy nonsense." Sirius scowled. Kerry poked his arm and smiled.

"I'll have boyfriends dad, you've got to get used to it." Sirius pouted at her.

"I don't wanna." Remus laughed at his friend and Kerry just shook her head at him with a smile.

Soon enough, their dinner came and they all ate happily and spoke for a while, into the night.

"You best be going Kerry. It's getting late." Remus mentioned. Kerry stood up and stretched.

"Yeh, I'll see you both tomorrow." She hugged Sirius and waved to Remus before exiting the room and making her way down to the Slytherin common room.

She gave the password and walked up to her dorm room.

Kerry was alone in a room now, for her protection and also some of the girls refuse to share with her. So Dumbledore created a new room right at the top of the stairs, just for her. It even had it's own password, which Dumbledore made.

"Jelly Slugs." Kerry mumbled and then walked in. She lazily got ready for bed and underneath the covers before falling asleep quickly.

Kerry woke up the next morning and just lay there for a while before deciding to get up. She washed and brushed her hair before pulling on blue skinny jeans, an emerald green hoodie and black converse shoes.

It was still breakfast time so she made her way down to the great hall. Everyone stared at her when she entered and she didn't like it one bit.

"What are you all looking at?" She yelled. Most of the people then looked away and she sighed as she walked to the Slytherin table to eat. Most of the Slytherins were switching from looking sympathetic to just glaring at her, still because of the Pansy incident.

She gave some of then glared back and then grabbed some food to eat. She hadn't seen Draco for a day and wondered where he was. She looked up and down the table and dropped her spoon when she saw the sight.
