Chapter Thirteen

THE PLAN IS SET

"So basically I told her where to go. She can't speak to Draco like that! Who does she think she is? I called her a nasty name and she chucked my potion all over the floor like a baby." Kerry looked at Sirius questioningly.

"Well Kerry. That lesson sounded eventful. But you have got to leave Hermione alone sometimes. If she wants to say something that's fine. Just ignore it. Anyway I have a plan. Buckbeak shall be being executed next week. Hopefully, if my plan is correct, Harry, Hermione and Ron will go to Hagrid's. Ron should have Peter with him, I hope. Then I pounce and kill Peter. Then I'm a free man." Sirius explained.

"Yeh not a bad plan. But what if it doesn't work?" Kerry didn't seem too fond of this plan. "Or what if you get caught?"

"I haven't really thought of that. I'll just have to wait if it doesn't happen. But I am definitely not going back to Azkaban." He stressed. Kerry did feel bad for him. She rested her head on his shoulder and he put an arm around her shoulders.

"I'm gonna help you dad. I'll be with you when you catch Peter. I'll stop Ron and them lot."

"I don't think-"

"Don't bother trying to say no. I'm a lynx remember. I can't get hurt, I'm probably better than you."

"Is that so? I'll take you up on that. Change right now!" He said, trying to sound stern but laughing. "I, Sirius Orion Black, challenge the Kerry Salia Andromeda Black to an animegus fight." He stood up and pulled Kerry with him.

"Black?" Kerry questioned. She was a Yaxley.

"Yes. Your birth certificate is Black, you are a real Black. Now change!"

He suddenly changed and Kerry followed suit. Sirius pounced on her but she easily pushed him off. She playfully snarled and lunged at him, pinning him to the floor. She put her long sharp teeth around the dogs neck, making sure she didn't harm him. Using his back legs he pushed her off. He gave, what seemed like, a laugh and nudged her side with his head. Pretending to be angry, she pawed the ground and ran fast at him. She bumped into him and then they both lay flat on the floor. They were both panting Kerry jumped onto Sirius again. She pinned him down but kicked right up the side of his dog face and then jumped off and changed.

Kerry was laughing hysterically and then Sirius changed back as well. She clutched her sides and sat down on a nearby log.

"Oh. So you beat me. Think it's funny so you?" Sirius stood with his hands on his hips and stared at her. She nodded and he lunged at her. He tickled her mercilessly.

"Stop! Dad stop! Ok I surrender!" She pleaded. It did no use. He wouldn't stop and eventually she couldn't breath. "Ok...stop...you...win..." She panted. He finally stopped. "Thank...you." He just laughed at her and sat down on the floor.

"Why can't I have had 12 years of this?" Sirius asked Kerry. He was slept calming down now. She was still catching her breath but he sat up.

"Because that horrible little rat decided to ruin your life!" Kerry exclaimed. "Aside from that, I am way stronger than you when I am an animegus." She laughed.

"Yes ok. I believe you, but not that much stronger."

"I know. However, you are well stronger than me when we are human. Id be scared to be in a fight with you." She giggled. He barked a laugh and then they just sat there for a while. They watched the sun set and the darkness fall. Being mid January still meant that it was dark at like 6.

"Honestly though." She piped up. "I'm gonna help you catch Peter. I think your right, Potter and the others won't want their precious Hagrid being alone at such a time."
