WEREWOLF

"Now Black. I must do the same to you!" Snape sneered. Sirius gripped tighter to Kerry. She was shaking her head furiously but didn't speak. She was too worn out.

"No way!" Sirius protested. "I am helping MY daughter back to the castle and we are going to prove my innocence."

"Innocence!" Snape snorted. "You are not innocent and you never will be!"

"God Snape! That was years and years ago and you believe locking me back in Azkaban will help?" Sirius sounded exasperated.

"You deserve it!" Snape sneered. It happened fast, Sirius wiped out a wand and stupefied Severus once again. Remus looked a little annoyed.

"He deserve that! I'm not arguing!" Harry seemed to be fighting back a grin. Remus just shook his head and waited.

"Come on Sirius. We must go." Remus told him. Sirius nodded and placed his arm under Kerry's back. He lifted her bridal style with ease.

"How are you feeling?" Sirius whispered as they made their way down the passage. He was struggling a bit but Sirius was holding Kerry and levitating Severus at the same time.

"Better." Kerry croaked. "It's not...your fault." Kerry smiled. "Don't beat yourself...up about it. I'm a little...achy and that's...all."

"Ok. Thank you and I am sorry. It was my foolish behaviour that annoyed Pettigrew anyway."

"Yeah well...we can't change that now." Kerry winced slightly as Severus' head bashed off the ceiling. "I can walk...now dad." She smiled. Sirius looked slightly grateful and lightly set her on her feet, he kept her arm around his shoulder so that she could be supported.

They walked in a calm silence for most of the way. Kerry noticed as Sirius smiled fondly at both her and Harry.

"You know harry?" Sirius greeted. Harry turned around.

"Yeh?"

"I don't know if anyone told you, but I am our godfather." Sirius told him. Harry smiled.

"I know. I overheard someone saying."

"Oh I see. I bet you didn't think too fondly of me." Sirius chuckled.

"Not really. I wanted to physically behead you when I found out what I thought was the truth." Harry smiled apologetically.

"Ha!" Sirius exclaimed. "To be honest, I would have let you even though I am innocent. I truly felt responsible you know. I suggested it in the first place."

"Enough depressing talk. It's over and I am more than happy that I know two great men who are my dad's best friends." Sirius cheered up at this.

"Your right Harry. Once I prove my innocence that's it. I'm free. Ooh, here's the end of the tunnel." Remus and Ron eased themselves out of the hole sideways with Pettigrew. Hermione went next and then Harry. Sirius lifted Severus and then cut off the spell so he fell to the grass. Kerry grumbled slightly at this. Sirius then helped Kerry out of the hole and gave her back her wand.

Sirius took Harry away and had some sort of private chat with him as Kerry sat up against the tree. They had all stopped for a quick rest before going up to the castle. Kerry was mindlessly watching the sky until she saw a cloud give way. The moon light shone brightly over them all and Kerry marvelled at it until someone shouted. Then she realised.

She tried to stand but fell back down as she watched Sirius tell them all to run as he transformed. He leapt at the now full werewolf and pushed him away from Peter and Ron.
