Kerry sighed as she sat on her bed. She had messed everything up. She always wondered why she didn't just ignore people and their comments. Everyone seemed scared of her now and she hated it.
The Easter holidays had now started and Kerry was bored. Even Draco hasn't spoken to her since the incident a couple of days ago. Sirius always seemed to look angry and like he was planning something, her dorm mates avoided her, Remus seemed to always look slightly sympathetic and thankfully Severus remained the same.
That's who Kerry decided to see. She slumped off the bed made her way to the classroom which was virtually next to the common room.
She knocked on the door sort out loudly and waited for the 'Enter' before walking in.
"Miss.Black." He inclined his head to her. She walked up to his desk and sat in a chair in front of it.
"Call me Kerry please Severus." She sighed.
"Is something the matter?" He asked, even though he didn't sound interested, but Kerry knew him better.
"Everyone is either scared of me or just ignoring me. Dad and Remus have been really occupied with some sort of plan against my uncle. Draco is ignoring me aswell." She sighed. "What do I do?"
"You've never come to me before now Kerry. Only ever at your home." He pointed out. Which was true, Kerry always kept to being civil with Severus at her house. Asking him for help or explaining something to do with her uncle.
"I know. But now, everyone seems to know about my uncle. It's all Parkinson's fault!" She spat. "She had ruined everything."
"That is a fair comment Kerry. But most of the blame lies with your uncle himself. He probably knows that you have shown people by now." That suddenly hit her.
"Your right! What do I do? He will kill me!" She jumped up from the chair. "I need to find my dad. Sorry Severus, I'll see you later!" She ran from the room and ran all the way to the guest quarters, unaware of the weird stared she was getting. This was an important matter and she couldn't ignore it.
There was no answer at his door, so she ran to Remus' quarters, but there was no answer there either.
"Where could I try?" She mumbled to herself. She had now slowed to a walk and carried on looking. She tried the DADA classroom, the great hall and the owlery.
Then she heard a voice which made her blood run cold as she stood stiff at the bottom of the owlery stairs.
"Hello Kerry." The voice sneered. Her breath hitched in her throat and she turned around slowly. "Cat got your tongue?" He laughed coldly. "Come and give your uncle a hug."
"W-what are you d-doing here?" She asked in a small voice. A very Un-Kerry voice.
"I've come to speak to you of course." He started walking towards her and all she could do was back up against the wall.
"Oh?" She asked. "What a-about?"
"A certain secret of ours, and some Animegus trouble." He grinned wickedly. He was now only two feet away and he stopped. "Little Miss.Parkinson informed me." Kerry totally paled.
"I don't know what you are talking about." She spoke as strongly as she could.
"Of course you don't. You silly little blood-traitor." He hissed and close the gap. "You'll pay for what you have done Kerry." He said as he lifted a bit of her hair up. "Oh, you will pay."
"I haven't done anything wrong." She whispered.
"You've told the whole school our little secret dear niece." Kerry shook her head and Yaxley grasped her hair and title red her head up as she winced. "Don't deny it." He spat. "I know everything. What gave you the right? Is it because dear old daddy is here now? Did you think you could just tell people and then skip away into the sunset?" Kerry shook her head again but felt a painful blow into her stomach.
She breathed heavily as Yaxley laughed at her. "You will either follow the dark lord, or die Kerry. One day you will understand." He let go of her and she stumbled slightly but styled standing.
"What did I ever do to you?" She hissed
confidently.
"Oh? You want to talk back to me now?" He pulled out his wand and pointed it right at her heart. "I cousin easily kill you now Kerry. There is nothing stopping me."
"Think again Yaxley." Another voice spoke. Kerry did a merry jig in her head as Sirius and Remus rounded the corner.
"Ah, come to watch your daughter die Black?" Yaxley then faced the two murderous looking faces. Kerry silently pulled out her wand and held it by her side.
"I wouldn't watch me if I were you." Remus spoke deadly calm.
"Wha-" Yaxley went to ask but Kerry yelled,
"STUPEFY!" Then Yaxley flew a few feet and lay unconscious on the ground. She let out a long held breath as Sirius ran towards her.
"What the hell was that about?" He murmured as he pulled her into a fierce hug.
"I don't know dad. I was looking for you and then he just turned up." Kerry's voice shook slightly but she felt very relieved.
"Expecto Patronum." Remus spoke. "We have Yaxley, please send some Aurors to the owlery at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardy." Then the Patronus flew off away from Hogwarts.
"Where did that go?" Kerry asked after Sirius finally let go.
"The Ministry Of Magic." He simply replied. "They have been looking for him, but he didn't know. Dumbledore told the Minister about his crimes against you and his loyalty."
"Oh ok." She mumbled.
"Are you okay Kerry? You seem pretty shaken." Sirius commented. She just nodded and put on a smile.
"Yeh thanks. Let's just go and get some food, I'm starving." She grinned. Sirius barked a laugh.
"That's a good idea. Let's just wait for these Aurors and then we will eat." He kissed her head and they sat on the steps of the owlery to wait.
