The rest of the days went back to normal. Well, normal as in, with a Headless Rider disguised as a human sort of normal.

Also, we had a new student. His name is Regg, who just came in the middle of the school term. I gotta hand it to him, he got along well with everyone already.

Plus THAT voice. He can sing so well that Francis has to watch out! There's a new singer in town!

"You like singers that much?" Asked Duan when he sat down beside me after Regg had demonstrated his singing talent for the fourth time this day.

"Bonus points if he can play the guitar," I stated.

"Like Francis?"

"Yep. Like Francis."

"So you like Francis?"

Oh my gosh. I sat up straight and glared at Duan, "Stop making things up! Who'd like a womanizer like him?!"

"I'm over here!!" Francis barked with a slightly annoyed face.

I made a peace sign at him, "Sorry! Didn't mean it!" Then I turned to Duan, "Actually I did. He's not my type though..."

The bell rang and lunch time came. During that time, we decided to try Regg if he can be part of this whole ordeal.

He was reluctant yet curious at first, but when we told him and showed Duan's real form, he was surprised. But that didn't stop him from... Well, getting curious.

As expected of students of our class! Nothing can scare us!

We also told him about the missing head and how the government is hiding things from the public.

"So now, we're tracking down the guy named Rezar Friedric from Maam Julie's university because he's one of the suspects," Added Zaira.

"Friedric...?" Regg suddenly became quiet, as if thinking, before he clasped his hands together, "I know that guy!"

"Huh?"

"He's the brother of my friend in my neighborhood!"

Everyone was silent for a while before Duan spoke up, "Show me where he lives. I'll crush him,"

I rolled my eyes at his words, "Don't start sounding like a Titan, Duan."

"He doesn't seem to go home often, his brother said to me once," Regg stated and crossed his arms, "But I can tell you that Wednesdays are his off days,"

"It's Wednesday tomorrow," Angel blurted out.

"Don't worry," Maam Julie said as she smiled at us, "I'm going to make sure he comes to our little talk,"

The discussion was cut off by another bell. This time, Maam Julie took the liberty to excuse herself from her afternoon lessons to go to that University. We promised to behave too, so her efforts wont be repaid with incidents of our bad behavior.

Time passed fast, and when it was dismissal, I checked my phone and saw a text from our teacher.

"Guys!" I yelled just before everyone stepped out the door, "Get back in! Announcement!"

Everyone got back in but they didn't sit down anymore. I ran up to the front, followed by Duan.

"Maam Julie said that he agreed with no suspicion, just thinking it's a normal study session, and it will be tomorrow at 9:00 am at the back of the unfinished building near the university."

"How can he think that they'll have a study session at an unfinished building?!" Commented Adam.

"Maybe he didn't hear it well,"

"Lemme text her back," Patricia motioned for my phone and I handed it to her. She typed in something and sent it.

"What did you say?"

"Oh, somewhere along the lines of 'Good job using your womanly appeal maam, from Pat' or something," She smirked back.

"You're teasing our teacher!!"

A reply soon came: "Patricia I will kick your ass when I see your tomorrow!"

"Tell her I'm not coming! Haha!"

"Don't joke about that," I sighed and then went back to the first message from Maam, "So, anyone know that building?"

"Yeah. I know," John said.

"Good. You'll lead us there."

Julia raised her hand in question, "It's still a schoolday tomorrow. Are we all going?"

"Good point. Maybe only five can come..."

"Meaning I'm not going!" Patricia yelled proudly.

I did a facepalm, "Anyways, Duan and I are going. John and Penny will come. Who wants to accompany us?"

"Why is Penny automatically in?"

I glared at Francis, "Cuz I said so,"

"I'll come," Said Klyde.

"Okay, it's decided!" I snapped my hands together and faced everyone with a stern look, "Cover up for us!"

"Sure!"

And so, Tuesday came to an end and Wednesday came up. The five of us stood in a secluded area of the streets as Duan reverted to his original form with his horse.

"Uh... What's he doing?" Asked Klyde.

I got on the horse and pointed back at the shadowy chariot behind it, "Free ride from Duan."

"S-seriously?! We're gonna ride with the headless rider?" Asked Penny in astonishment.

I rolled my eyes, "I've done it so many times. Just be sure to hold on tight. He goes pretty fast."

John was first to get in the chariot, excitement obvious in his eyes. Klyde followed and then Penny.

Duan sat behind me and then commanded Schylle to run off. The speed was overwhelming at first go and before we knew it, we got to the unfinished building already.

"Ah crap. That was amazing..." John drawled out as they stepped out of the carriage and Duan reverted back to his human form.

Maam Julie arrived a couple of minutes later followed by who we pressumed was Rezar Friedric.

"Hello, Rezar," Duan started as he stepped in front.

Rezar put on a questioning look, "Who are these people?" He asked Teacher Julie.

She shrugged and let Duan continue speaking instead.

"I'm Duan. A headless rider." Duan hissed out, his red eyes blazing, "And I believe you have my head."
