Sakura walked with Brandon down the road. Brandon eyed Sakura with an interesting look.
"What?" Sakura asked, smiling. "Is there something on my face?"
Brandon shook his head. "No...it's just that you look like a woman. Very grown up like and mature." He said, a smile coming across his face.
Sakura smiled shyly. Did Brandon see a blush come over her face? Guess she liked getting complimented. "Thank you." She said.
Brandon looked up at the sky. It was dark. The stars gleamed in the night sky. It was so pretty. Like before Brandon appeared here, back in his own town.
A girl ran up to Sakura and Brandon. She had purplish hair, and she wore a light brownish sweater. She wore a headband like Sakura's on her neck. She wore sandals, and had blue pants. Brandon recognized her as Hinata. Brandon smiled. She looked so beautiful.
"Sakura, have you seen Gai-Sensei? I have to ask him something." Hinata said. She stopped talking when she saw Brandon. "Who is this person?"
Sakura smiled. "Oh sorry, Hinata. Hinata, this is Brandon. He'll be living in our village. He just moved here. Brandon, this is Hinata, she's a fellow ninja." She said.
Brandon felt a blush creep up over his face. "Wow...you look beautiful..." Brandon said.
Brandon stopped talking when he realized what he just said. Hinata giggled. She poked her fingers together. Brandon saw a blush come up from her face. And that wasn't a complimentary blush, like Sakura's.
"T-thank you." Hinata said, looking down at the ground.
"I saw Gai-Sensei around the ramen shop. He should be there. If he's not there, I'll help you find him tomorrow." Sakura said.
"O-okay." Hinata said. She walked away coyly, blushing. Brandon looked at her. God, she looked so pretty.
"So...someone's got a crush on Hinata!" Sakura said, beaming.
"Shut up." Brandon said, glaring.
Sakura laughed. "So...um...there was something else I wanted to ask you, Brandon." She said. She and Brandon started walking again.
"Yeah." Brandon said. "Shoot."
"Would you like to go for ramen tomorrow? I'd like to get together with you to talk." Sakura said.
Brandon thought for a minute. When Sakura stopped walking, Brandon had made up his mind.
"Yeah! Why not?" Brandon said.
Sakura smiled. "Okay. Here's your house." She pointed to a small green house. "And here's the key. This is only a temporary house, so don't mess it up too much." She handed Brandon a key.
"Eh? Temporary? What's that mean?" Brandon asked.
"Lady Hokage is making some decisions on what you will do in the future." Sakura said. "Goodnight!" She walked away.
Brandon went into his house. It was nice. A small kitchen, a little living room and two other rooms down a small hall, a bathroom and a bedroom. Pretty complex.
Brandon sat down in a couch in the living room. He flicked on the lights. He laid down his backpack, and lay out on the sofa. Finally, some rest...
Suddenly, Brando heard knocking on the door. Brandon got up and answered the door. There stood Kakashi, along with Hinata.
"Kakashi-Sensei! What are you doing here?" Brandon asked.
"Lady Hokage gave me these books for you. I don't know what Hinata here wants." Kakashi said. He handed Brandon two books and strolled off lazily. Hinata stood at the door, gazing at Brandon with white eyes. Very pretty white eyes.
