A/N: Please excuse the language. Mild violence up ahead. Okay, mildly harsh violence it is.

Chapter 9 ~ Denial
[Skylar's POV]
"Ah, when you said Yellow were you referring to a short blonde with yellow eyes?" Mr. Atsaki, the owner of the power plant, asked.
Blue nodded. "Yes, that's her."
We're having beef stew and steamed fish for dinner. I didn't even know that the power plant had a second floor. This is where the other rooms are- aka the place where Cristial lives.
"I saw her a few days ago, surfing in the river with her Pokémon. Didn't notice anything much else." Mr. Atsaki said. "Cristial, you're always by the river. Have you noticed anything in particular lately?"
Cristial shrugged. "I have no idea about what you are talking about. But Cresselia has been acting strange about the river, so maybe you should go in the water. That's all that I know, Father."
Gold was stealing glances at Cristial. "So how's the train doing, Mr. Atsaki?"
"No need to be so formal. Just call me David."
"I insist." Gold said in a charming voice that must have intimidated Cristial.
I saw Blue shot daggers at him.
"Such a noble gentleman, aren't you?" Mr. Atsaki said.
Gold smiled, looking at Cristial. "But of course."
Tch. Perverted flirt strikes again.
"Thank you so much for allowing us to have dinner with you and your magnificent daughter, Mr. Atsaki." Blue said, trying to steal Cristial's attention from Gold.
"No problem. But please, address me by David."
"Uh.... sure, David." Blue said. That must have been awkward.
"I have more work to do, so if you need me, I'll be in the main office donwstairs." Mr Atsaki said and stood up. "It was nice meeting y'all, Gold, Skylar and Blue. Cristial, be in your room before 10 PM."
It's just 8:55 PM. I hardly spoke a word at dinner......
"Check in the water." Cristial reminded us before she left.
Blue stood up. "Let's go to the river, then."
A river is much, much, much more different than an ocean or sea, thank goodness.
"So I guess you like her, Gold?" Blue said as we went down the stairs.
"U-Uh I g-guess.... Maybe ju-just a little." Gold stammered.
"Ha. Don't even think about it. She's mine, yours is Crys." Blue said.
Nice one, Blue. Waaaaaaaaait. I thought he liked Green? Wait again, what do I care anyway...... Gold's involved, right.
"No way, you have Green so I'm taking Cristial." Gold protested.
Blue blushed madly. "I never said I liked her!"
We went out of the power plant, and it was so cold. The winds are so chilling like crazy!! I pull my jacket closer as Pika gently jumps onto my shoulder.
"You never said you didn't like her, either." Gold countered.
Score for Gold. Obviously I'm on Team Gold.
"Well you like every single beautiful girl that you see." Blue smirked.
"Well who wouldn't?" Gold said, grinning widely.
