Chapter 16 ~ Inquisitiveness

[Red's POV]

Pachirisu is a Sinnoh Pokémon. It is known to be cheerful and moody, and becomes hyper from time to time—

"GOOD MORNING!" Gold said loudly, sitting up.

I closed the book that I was reading, Advanced Guide for knowing Sinnoh Pokémon. "Do you really have to be so hyper early in the morning?"

"Nothing like a fresh friendly wake-up greeting in the morning." he chuckled.

So yeah, I stayed with him the whole night, while Silver stayed with Skylar. Green took over for Blue in tracking down Aqlastic in the lab. Crystal was helping Green, and Yellow took a room here.

"Fun fact, 'bout Skylar, Red." Gold said and stretched his arms. "Sky only took three Poké balls with her yesterday." He leaned right and pulled the curtain open, letting the sunshine in.

"And so?" I asked.

He facepalmed. "Which means that she still has Giratina in her hands."

Giratina? So then that means we could stand a chance against Aqlastic. Or do we? Because one whiff of Aqlastic's gas he'll get affected.

"I see your point. But still, who knows what if."

"Good morning!" Yellow burst in and sat on one of the chairs. She was sipping a smoothie and had a sandwich in the other hand. "How's the leg, Gold?" she asked.

"Eh, it's fine, but I still can't walk properly." Gold said. "Is Skylar awake already?"

"Yes, I saw her in the cafeteria with Blue. They were having an arm-wrestling match."

"WHAT? You should have stopped them, they might start a riot in there! Those two are sure to fight with each other!" Gold panicked, getting up slowly to his wheelchair.

"Silver's there to referee." Yellow said  and took another bite of her sandwich.

Gold sank back down on the bed. "You should have said that first. Their rivalry makes me worry too much."

"So I've noticed."

"I hope she won't run off to wherever she thinks her Pokémon and Aqlastic might be." Gold sighed.

"Hello? Oh hi Green. Okay. Oh. Yes, alright. Okay, bye." Yellow said through her Pokégear.

"What did Green want?" I asked.

She frowned. "She lost Aqlastic's current location. Aqlastic put up a virus firewall. Which means Blue's laptop has been hacked by a virus. We lost them, and Blue's laptop."

"Those people really have a knack for hacking, don't they?" Gold said.

"They sure do..." I mumbled quietly.

"Hey, maybe Skylar's friend from Kalos can help! Skylar says he's a computer genius, although I haven't met him." Gold said.

"That's great! I'll go get Skylar downstairs." Yellow said and went out.

"So what do you know about this 'computer genius friend' of Skylar?" I asked.

"Not much. Skylar told me that she met him and another girl, who she became close friends with upon arrival."

"Okay."

Yellow dragged Skylar in, who was holding a packet of cookies.

"What did you call me for? Can't you see I'm eating?" Skylar glared at Gold.
