[Silver's POV]

It's been hours already, and night has fallen. There she is. I can see her Charizard getting nearer.

"Skylar!" I called her as she stepped down from her Charizard, going into the balcony. Her clothes were stained with blood that wasn't hers- it didn't matter, I pulled her into my arms.

"I'm so sorry Silver." she said. Her arms were trembling as she hugged me back.

"You don't have to apologize for anything Skylar," I said. "I already saw it coming."

My best friend's yandere, and from what Red told me it seems to be that she's also a sadist when it comes to her dark side. Like I care about that- she's still my best friend, and nothing can break the bond that I have with her.

"S-Silver, I could get arres-"

"No you're not. Red didn't tell the others about what really happened, except for me. Instead he told the police that the baroness committed suicide on her own. It's now a secret between us and him. There's nothing to worry about." I assured her. She pulled away from the hug, her face still stricken with mixed emotions.

"Still. I just had this sudden urge to make her suffer, and when she did I felt so happy. I don't know why, but I enjoyed seeing her in pain- revenge for everything she has done to Lace and the others. It was a strange feeling, but I felt satisfied." See? Sadist confirmed.

"Skylar, don't get mad at me but. You're a sadist." The truth hurts, but I'm telling her anyway. It's in her nature, a part of her dark side.

She didn't seem to be a bit surprised. "I killed someone. It's a crime, I didn't really want to...."

"That no ones knows except for you, Red and me. Everything will be fine now." I lied to her, it was for the best. Everything won't exactly be fine now. Yes, Aqlastic retreated out of Sinnoh, but still..... I can't have her going after them again. I almost lost her twice. I'm not losing her again.

"If it helps, the baroness didn't deserve to live." I said. "...... How are you feeling?" I can't just ask her if she's okay, that would be kind of insulting wouldn't it? After all, she did murder a person.

She nodded blankly. "Just...... Just in s-shock. Maybe guilt, too."

"You still saved him, though. If it weren't for you, who knows what she might have done to him. Just like what happened to Yellow. Earlier when I talked to him, he told me that he owed you again." I told her.

She nodded again. "He's safe now, right."

"Of course. Thanks to you."

She gave a sigh of relief. "Mission accomplished. I can rest in peace, then."

"Very funny, Sky." I looked at her for a while- her bloodstained clothes, the pained expression on her face, her ambivalent attitude. My best friend. The one who panicked worse than I did when she found out that Red came to Aqlastic at his free will. Come to think of it, well, well, well. Hmm. If he's planning to hit on my best friend, no need for permission, I already approve of it. IF.

"Hey Skylar....... you love him don't you?" I said, avoiding eye contact.

"After all what happened, you still think so? I'll be honest to you, Silver. I don't know. I'm completely lost."

I heard footsteps getting louder. Well, there's only one person I know who's energetic enough to be such in a happy mood. Look who got tired of playing video games.

"SKY! YOU'RE BACK!" Gold exclaimed, throwing his arms around her. She nodded, patting his back.

"Uh Skylar? You okay?" he asked. She just stared at him blankly without a response.
