Chapter 6: Worse then being poisoned!

Chapter 6

Katniss P.O.V.

I don't know how. But somehow we managed to arrive to school all in one piece, even with me and Peeta in one and the same car.

Well I just want to get out of the damn car so I can stop breathing the same air as him.

But as I'm about to walk away, I remember that I'm suppose to stick with the group because I said I would. I'm a part of this group now, and I can't change that.

Damn!

I just wanna get away from Peeta. Like right know.

Oh I just want this day to end.

After school Clove insist that we all, boys and girls, should have a sleepover.

She really hates me. She really does. I mean, why else would she do this to me?

We stop by the guys house so they can get their sleeping bags and we head towards our house.

At first we just listen to some music.

That's when it happens. Finnick comes with the most stupid idea ever.

"Let's play truth or dare!" He shouts and everyone except Peeta and I cheers.

I don't wanna play. I hate this game.

"You know I hate this game Finn!" Peeta shouts annoyed.

"I don't care, everyone has to play!" Finnick shouts as he runs into the kitchen.

He comes back with a bottle in his hands.

We all sit it circles. I sit in the middle of Clove and Annie. Across me, sits Peeta.

Finnick spins the bottle and it lands on Annie.

"Truth or dare babe?" He asks.

"Dare!" She shouts happily.

"Stuff your bra with ice", Finnick says.

Annie roll her eyes and walks out to the kitchen.

We hear her scream and she walks back. She's pale and cold sweat. She's shaking as well.

"Damn this is cold!" She complains. "Fuck you Finnick".

"Sure babe", he says and everyone laughs.

Including myself. That was actually funny.

Annie spins the bottle and it lands on Clove.

"Truth or dare?" Annie asks, with a shaky voice. She's freezing.

"Dare", Clove says.

"Hm... Let's see... You are going to the bathroom with Marvel and you will change underwear with each other.

Marvel groans. Obviously he didn't want to get dragged into this. But he has no choice. That's the one rule. You always have to do what you're told in a dare. No matter what.

Clove and Marvel disappears for a few minutes and than they come back. Marvel looks really uncomfortable, and Clove just laughs.

They sit down. Marvel is really careful. He can't enjoy Clove's panties.

Clove takes the bottle and spins it. This time it lands on Peeta.

"Truth or dare Peet?" Clove asks.

Peeta seems to hesitate.

"Tru ... Dare..." He says.

"I know! You're gonna kiss..." She says slowly.

Clove I will literary kill you if...

"Katniss!"

Watch your back from now on dare cousin, 'cause I won't let this pass by.

"No freaking way!" I shout.

"I'm not gonna kiss her!" Peeta shouts.

"You have to, you know the rule", Cato says happily.

And why the fuck is he so damn happy? This is nothing to be happy about!

"No chance in hell that I'm gonna let him kiss me! Forget it Clove!" I shout angry. "I didn't agree on this when I joined the group!"

"You still have to kiss", Gale says.

Another one I should kill maybe?

"You guys can forget that! There is no fucking chance I'm gonna kiss Everdeen!" Peeta shouts. "Or I'm gonna kiss her, when porcupines flies!"

"Oh I didn't know you can fly?" I spit out with disgust and Peeta gives me a killing look.

Everyone becomes silent and looks at us. We stare at each other in disgust.

"Enough of this! Now kiss and get it over with!" Johanna exclaims annoyed.

Peeta and I both sigh. We're not gonna get out of this.

We both stand up and walk up to the middle of the circle.

We look at each other.

"Just do it, so I can go and vomit", I say.

"Be my guest!" Peeta mutters.

"Come on!" Finnick says.

"Alright!" Peeta shouts annoyed.

Peeta puts one hand on my neck and one on my back and pulls me close to him, as he leans his face towards mine.

I also lean forward a bit.

Our lips meat.

I feel sparkles rush through my body. I get a tingling feeling inside my body.

I put my hands around Peeta's neck and allow myself to get lost in the kiss.

This doesn't feel wrong, and yet it does somehow.

We pull away and look at each other.

Without a word we both turn our backs on each other and walks back to our seats.

It's completely silent in the room.

"I'm gonna get you back for this Clove!" I whisper in her ear.

But I feel how warm my cheeks are.

This isn't right. What the hell just happened?

I couldn't have liked that kiss. But I did.

I hate Peeta even more now! Why did he kiss me?! I didn't want him to.

This is way worse than being poisoned. That would have been so much better.
