Have you ever heard the song "When you wish upon a star"?
Well I have. And trust me, to wish upon a star does not make everything good. And it does not help to wish upon a star. Your wishes does not come true. It's all a big fat lie!
And how do I know this? I tried. Every night. And I still try. It doesn't work. But yet ... And yet, I don't stop trying.
Why don't I stop trying, when I know that it doesn't work? Why don't I stop trying when I don't have any hope left? Why don't I stop trying when nothing is gonna change? I don't know.
I guess that I want to believe that I can start to hope again.
That's the only thing I can do.
My name is Katniss Everdeen and I've lost my path in life.
