Chapter 34: My girls

Chapter 34

Katniss P.O.V.

As I walk through the corridor I hear people shout at me.

I'm not showing yet, but once I do, this is just going to be so much worse.

I don't know what to do. How do you stop people from harassing you? The answer of that is simple; you can't. It just continues and continues.

When Plutarch found out he talked to the whole school about bullying and said that those who bully other students will get suspended.

That only made it all worse for me. Now apparently I'm a rat. And I didn't even tell him, the doctors did, my friends did, I did not, so how am I the rat?

I come up to my locker. I open it and put my books in.

When I close it, Delly's minions stands there.

I jerk.

"Leave me the fuck alone!" I hiss at them.

I try to walk away, but they grab me and push me into the lockers with my head first.

Oh that hurt. The doctors said that I can't hit my head hard again. It didn't feel so hard, my back took most of the lockers.

"Seriously?! What the hell is your problem?" I ask frustrated. "Just let me go!"

"But we don't want to", one of them says. "How can you be so stubborn and survive all the time huh?"

What are they really trying to kill me on purpose? How sick are these girls.

"What the hell? Are you that sick?!" I ask.

"Oh I wouldn't say that, I would say that we make justice", another one of them says.

They pull away and then throw me back against the lockers.

Ow!

"You little bitch, why do you live and why do you walk these corridors?" The first one says.

I get a slap in my face.

"Let her go", I hear a voice behind the minions say.

I look over one of the girls shoulders and see my girls. Clove, Annie, Glimmer and Johanna. They look at the minions with angry faces.

The minions look back.

"Oh so you're going to stop us?" A girl asks mockingly.

"Yes!" Clove says.

The girls suddenly seems unsure. What ever they say, I'm still one of the popular group, and my girls are the most respected girls at the school.

"Well take this piece of shit then!" The girl that holds me says.

She takes me by my hair and throw me down at the floor. I land onto my stomach with my face into the floor.

The girls run up to me and kneels beside me.

"You little shit!" Johanna yells and runs forward and give the girl a hearty slap in the face. "Do that again and I'll hunt you down with my axe!"

"Let's go", the minions says and walks away.

"Katniss are you okay?" Clove asks as they help me to stand up.

"I'm fine, they've done worse remember?" I say and put my hand to my head. "I don't bleed this time so that's a plus".

"Guess again Kit", Clove says. "You bleed here".

She touches a point at my back that hurts the most.
