Hunter's P.O.V

Lauren left a couple hours ago. I was impressed on how she handled the situation. But it worried me that she owned a gun. Who would she? By the looks of it, all the clues, her not Being scared of me, owning a gun, and knowing how to use it. She probably has had a rough past.

"Hey dick! Wake up!" I slapped the hostage. He groaned and shook his head.

"Why the hell did you come after me? And how do you know my name?" I said

"I was only doing my orders." He spoke hoarsely

"Orders? From who?"

"Look man, I don't want any trouble."

"Then you wouldn't have been hit in the face by a girl, tied up, of course you wouldn't want any trouble." I said sarcastically. He just groaned in response. I rolled my eyes and went through shelves. Finding a glass filled with copper looking fluid

"Mm, Bourbon." I praised.

"Can you let me go?" The guy said, I thought for a minute.

"How about" I pulled out a chair and took a seat. "You tell me how you know me, and who you take orders from. From there, I'll just simply untie you and you can go back to dreaming of unicorns and rainbows." I smiled and took a sip of the alcohol.

"Its not really my place to be saying that information." He said

"Then you aren't going anywhere." I said as the door opened. Lauren sighed and placed her purse on a chair. She looked up at me and smiled.

"Hey stranger." She said

"Hey." I say. I noticed she glanced at the guy. She then walked into the kitchen and I followed.

"Get anything out of him?" She said

"No, he won't talk." I laid against the island and crossed my arms

"How long has he been awake?"

She acts so normal, like she doesn't even have a hostage and a gun.

"Lauren, I need to tell you something about me. And I have a feeling I'll lose your trust forever." I said

"Uh.. OK.."

I sigh and look her straight in the eyes.
"How bad would it be if I told you I was a leader of a gang?"
