Altissia
(The Oracle)
The Oracle has been seen travelling with another while keeping to the shadows.
The aforementioned, Oracle Luna, reached out to Prince Noctis. Her faithful black dog 'Umbra' caught up with you all while visiting the coastline. He'd strode up, wagging his tail in elation. Noct had procured a rose colored tome, fastened around the gentle dog's chest.
It contained a note urging The Prince to meet with Lunafreya, for she had something to give to him. The item in question was never mentioned, simply a reaffirmation of urgency. The Oracle would be waiting for The Prince in the city of Altissia.
It had taken a while to secure safe passage, Cid, Cindy's grandfather had grumblingly agreed to help the group by procuring a boat and captaining it. You'd all piled into the watercraft with the ever impatient man at the helm.
It was a long ride, over the calm ocean.

Altissia, The City on Water, It lays before you. A simple channel the only remaining obstacle. Entering the raised channel, the engines slow to a small hum. Ahead are the grandiose gates, you'll soon be entering. The surrounding body of water, you'd previously traversed, has completely fallen away. Open ocean melts seamlessly into a waterfall, flowing into a reservoir. You chance to gaze down, it's a steep drop. If anyone were to fall overboard the results would most likely be fatal...
There are multiple waterfalls lining the area, some sprout from the crescent shaped walls of the city itself. Though beautiful, they roar with a fearsome cry, a reminder of the danger they pose. The force of the falls creates a white foam-like spray that bubbles and gurgles in agitation, as rushing force beats relentlessly against the still waters beneath.
A thin mist ghosts atop the disturbed waters, giving an eerie feeling. Spray from the rushing water, splashes against you intermittently. Chilling your, once warm body. It's a strange phenomenon, how the droplets manage to reach such heights... Your skin prickles slightly at the unexpected sensations.
Two large statues loom overhead arms outstretched, a lantern in each hand to guide the way. Their large wings cast odd shadows across the narrow waterway. The large boat you are riding in slows, nearly to a stop, in front of the large gateway. The canal's water sloshes against the stone walls at the sudden change of speed.
The gateway itself is a marvel! One of the most ornate structures you've ever laid eyes on. It holds the appearance of a cheerful clock tower. All carved of white stone, matching the surrounding walls. Two more angles, though smaller in scale, grace the gate's structure. Their wings are outstretched to the heavens, and arms posed as if in prayer.
Once through the first set of gates, you wait a moment, in a dimly lit area between the city's two walls. A man approaches the side of the boat asking about a permit... Thankfully Cid had brought one aboard. Access now granted, the second pair of gates open.
They Lead into a bay area, filled with docking locations. Most of which are overflowing. After circling a few times, and joined effort from everyone onboard, the boat is safely docked. One by one you file off onto the docks. You are the last to exit the craft.
Noctis extends a hand to you, shyly you take it. His hand is warm and gentle as his calloused fingers curl around the back of your hand. "Watch your step." He supports your weight as you step off the boat. He smiles warmly at you, tiny crow's feet form at the edges of his eyes.
A sharp whistle breaks the silence. Cid's grizzled voice barks out. "Enough nonsense! The two of you can be as lovey-dovey as you want when I'm no longer here." The rough old man's arms are crossed tightly against his chest, as he glares impudently up at The Prince.
