(Hammerhead)

You were seated in the middle of the backseat. Noctis to the left, Prompto to the right. It'd been a long drive so far, and your back was beginning to ache. Prompto could hardly sit still, he'd been like this the entire drive. Drumming his fingers on his lap, humming tunelessly, readjusting his position in the seat, the smile never leaving his face. It was slightly concerning...

You glanced at Noctis quisitively hoping for an answer. But you'd forgotten, that he'd fallen asleep, shortly after leaving the campsite, proclaiming his desire to 'nap'. His arms were folded loosely across his chest, his body was slouched against the backseat. His neck was arched slightly forward, chin dipping towards his chest. Long eyelashes were visible between his dark bangs, and his lips were slightly parted. It was cute, unbelievably cute. A coy smile spread across your face, cheeks feeling suddenly warm.

The shuffling of a page broke your concentration. Gladiolus sat in the passenger seat, nose deep in a book. It intrigued you. He didn't seem the type. Curiosity gripped you. Without trying to draw too much attention, you shifted moving a bit closer glimpsing the text on the pages. At the top of the page in small letters the title read 'The World Wanderer'. Upon scanning a few paragraphs of the book, you could confirm, it contained information on locations across Eos.

"We've arrived." Ignis broke the long standing silence. Eagerly, you studied the surrounding area. A large sign read Hammerhead, with the outline of the signs namesake swimming menacingly below. It was a very small area, around three buildings total. An enormous warehouse with the words 'Hammerhead Garage' painted above, what looked to be an item shop, along with a small diner.

A woman stepped out from inside a bright yellow tow-truck. She was waving her arms in a friendly manner, as she jogged over. "Didn't think I'd see you fellas back here quite so soon. What can I do for ya?" She spoke in a vivid cheerful tone. Her bright green eyes fell to you almost immediately. "You must be miss Lunafreya, The Prince's fiancé, It's a pleasure to meetcha! You two sure make a lovely couple."

You were stunned into silence. She must not know what Lunafreya looked like... Noctis, who was sitting beside you, shot up from his seat now fully awake. He was evidently shaken by this turn of events. Eyes wide in shock he'd spoken.

"This is a huge misunderstanding! You've got it all wrong, she isn't Luna!" His tone of voice was uneven and oddly strained.

"I apologize for the misunderstandin." She seemed just as shocked as he was. If not startled by his strange reaction.

"Cindy, would you be so kind as to tell us if a Cor Leonis is near this establishment?" Ignis cut straight to the point giving Noctis some, much needed, recovery time.

"Golly, You'd best talk to Paw-Paw about that! The old coot's around here somewhere... Lemme find him for ya." She turned, about to leave.

"Ah, Cindy that's quite alright! We'll find him ourselves, but before we do, there's a favor I'd like to ask of you." Ignis gestured to you. "Do you have anywhere that she could wash up?" Cindy studied you for a moment taking it all in. Trails of dirt were dried on your face, and mud was clotted and dried into your hair turning it into a matted mess.

"I sure do. Follow me Darlin." She led you into a room, of the garage. There was a small seating area, as well as a bathroom. Thankfully, it contained a small shower. "Bein a mechanic is messy work, it was such a relief when the shower was added." She meticulously explained the ins and outs of how the shower worked, as well as pointing out the body wash and shampoo.
