*Brayson's pov*
"Did you really buy another pizza?" Alexis asked me looking up from her drawing book. I smiled at her while I took at a twenty to pay for it.
"I did," I answered and opened the door. Standing there was a girl with straight blondish brown hair that came to her upper back. Her eyes were a blue color at one moment, green the next. Her skin was pretty tan, and she was shorter than I was. We kind of had the same height rotoue had Mom and Dad had. She was looking down at her phone, and when she looked up, her eyes seemed to look over me surprised.
"Hi," she said smiling shyly.
"Hi," I said back looking at her. Those eyes held mine, and something seemed to spark between us. I looked down at the pizza and laughed.
"Oh, this is yours!" she cried, and our hands brushed when I took it, and a spark of some kind of feeling jumped from her hand to mine.
"Um, here's the money," I said and she took it, and that feeling happened again.
"I'm Kasey Storm," she said putting the money in her pouch. "That is if you want to call the store and maybe get me a raise. Do you know the number?"
"Yeah. What I would really like is yours."
"Oh. Well could I know your name first?"
"Brayson Jane."
"Cool name. Here's my number, text me, call me, whatever you want to do," she told me giving me a piece of paper. I smiled has she got in her car and drove away. Her name was in my mind and I couldn't get those changing green and blue eyes out of my mind. Kasey Storm.
"Somebody has a crush!" Alexis cried out making me look up from my thoughts. I glared at her.
"I do not!" I told her and she smiled.
"Do too."
"I do not have a crush on Kasey."
"Sure you don't."
"Do you want pizza or not?"
"Maybe if you don't drool all over it."
"You're pushing it."
"Pushing what?" Dad asked walking into the door. He looked at us, and I smiled.
"Pushing not getting a piece of this pizza," I answered and he looked confused.
"Why would she push not getting pizza?"
"Cause I am teasing Brayson about his crush," Alexis said and I gave her a death glare.
"When did you get a crush?" Dad asked looking even more confused.
"I don't have one!" I cried and Mom looked at me with a weird look when she came into a door.
"Do I even want to know?" she asked and Dad smiled.
"Probably not Missy," he answered and she rolled her eyes at him.
"I'll be upstairs not wanting to know. Patrick, I think the kids need to work whatever out," she said and took his hand. He sighed.
"But I want to stay," he pouted and she shock her head smiling.
"I don't know why I ever feel in love with you," she responded and he laughed.
"I just cause that on people."
"Sure you do. Sure you do."
They walked up the stairs and I smiled. I heard Alexis sigh and looked happily at them walking up the stairs.
"Isn't it sweet?" she asked and I sat down.
"What?" I asked back.
"Mom and Dad."
"I don't see how they love each other so much. They are so different."
"That's why. Dad is so easy going and joking. Mom is serious and takes thing serious at times. The way they complement each other just makes me think that anyone can find love the way they did."
"Sappy there sis."
"Don't you want someone to love you the way Mom does Dad?"
"I do. I don't know anyone else that has that much love for each other."
"I know."
"Alright, so do you think we should call them down?"
"What are you going to do?"
"I was going to watch a movie and I wanted to see if they wanted to watch it with me?"
"Oh, I have an idea!"
I smiled at Alexis as she whispered her plan in my ear. It was sweet and caring to both of them, and I would love to help her. She set to work on the cooking part of the plan, and I started the hunt for the movie she asked for. Where was it? I looked around, and I finally found it has she placed the food on two plates. I placed the disk in the DVD player and waited for Alexis to put the food on the table. I gave her a high five, and took my place next to her has she called for Mom and Dad.
"Yes?" Mom asked walking down the stairs with Dad close behind. She looked at the table then at the T.V. screen and smiled. I smiled back and Dad laughed.
"You two are defiantly not my kids," he joked and Alexis laughed at it, as did I.
"Well you two never do eat until you get home," Alexis said.
"And I wanted to watch a movie, so we decide to do this," I put in waving my hand at it all.
"I'n glad you did," Mom said hugging us both. "Reminds me of old memories."
"Is that good or bad?" Dad asked taking the two plates of Alfredo in his hands.
"Depends."
"Depends on what?" I asked.
"If the memory is good or bad," she answered. "Remembering things like this is good. Remembering things like the Red Stars is bad."
"Remembering red," Alexis said sitting next to Mom. I sat next to Dad, and Mom and Dad sat next to each other.
"I guess you could say that," Dad said putting a plate in Mom's lap.
"You could," Mom said. "So have you kids watched this movie?"
"I have," I said looking at the case. I knew it was one of Mom's favorite and one of the few Dad has seen. Sweeney Todd.
"Alexis?" Dad asked and she nodded.
"On Halloween we watched this sense we didn't like any of the horror movies on," she answered taking the remote in hand. "Ready?"
"Of course," Mom answered with a smile. We watched the movie together, and just spent the night together. It felt good to be with my family, but Kasey was still on my mind.
Isn't that sweet? I'm like really happy right now. My friend made me go all fangirl cause she didn't know who Patrick Jane was, so I looked him up and spent like an hour with her looking at pictures of him. Oh well, live and learn. The lesson is that I should not be allowed to look at pictures of people I love or else bad things will happen. Anyway, let me know what you think about this chapter, Kasey is based off my friend _DatWriterChick cause I lost a bet. Peace out my Stars!
