*Alexis' pov*

I watched Brayson's blue eyes look over every piece of paper he could find. It was like watching Dad put together a puzzle or even figure something out. He was working so hard to find them. He had pointed out so many spots they could be, but when Lisbon went to look, they weren't there. I knew that Brayson was not about to give up on finding them. His eyes moved from on paper to the next.

"Brayson," I said sitting down. He barely looked up. I placed my hand on his shoulder and he looked up.

"Yes?" he asked.

"You need to take a break," I answered and he looked at me like I was crazy.

"I can't. Mom and Dad need me."

"They would need you to rest also," I told him. I looked at the time and saw that it was almost ten o'clock. Brayson didn't seem to care at all.

"I can't rest Alexis," he told me going back to work. I sighed and I took the paper that was in his hands. He looked up at me and then he sighed running his hand through his hair. "Alright, let's go home. It's almost Saturday anyway."

I smiled at him and he walked out of the little room he was in. Then I saw something on the bored he was using. It looked faint, but I saw it was there. I walked over and looked at it, and I smiled at it.

"Brayson!" I called and he looked back in the room. We were in Dad's building on the top of the CBI base. It was perfect for us to work in, and Lisbon said that Dad would want us to work in there. I pointed at the map.

"What do you see?" I asked and he looked long at it. He slowly grinned at me and then he hugged me. When he was done he got some string and made the shape of a star on the map. That is where all the bodies have been found, killed, or just plan up there. None of the attacks made it outside the star besides one. I looked at the one and saw it was were Mom was taken the first time. We already looked there, but she was not there.

"Sis, you done it!" he cried and hugged me again. I smiled when he did it.

"If we are going to find them, they have to be in that star, right?"

"Maybe. If they have kept the star up this long with only Mom being the exception, then they would want to keep to the star. The places we checked also make it somewhere here," he said pointing to a spot in the star. It was just outside of town and looked perfect for someplace that is hidden to be at. I smiled at him and I hugged him this time.

"We'll get them soon," I sighed into his chest and he placed his hand on my back. We raced down to tell Lisbon about it.

"Lisbon," Brayson called out walking into her office. She looked up and Brayson walked over to her. They started to talk, and then she sighed at him. She nodded her head and he smiled. I wasn't listening to what they were saying. He walked out of the room with a smile on his face, but Lisbon stopped me.

"Yes Lisbon?" I asked her. She smiled at me.

"I was thinking about you and Brayson," she explained. "I think that maybe you all could become great detectives if you wanted."

"We could?"

"Yes. I wanted to ask you if you ever thought about it. It's fine if you haven't and don't want to. I know I didn't want to. I was just wondering."

"I have, but art just stands out to me more. I thought about something in that area."

"I see. Well, if you change your mind, let me know. I think you could be has good has Thomas."

"Yes Lisbon," I said walking out. I was thinking about their jobs even more now. I remember when I was ten and Dad come home tired. Mom wasn't with him, and Brayson was at a friends house. Lisa was watching me, and I ran into his arms. He picked me up with a smile and kissed my cheek. I played with his hair than saw that Mom was not there.

"Daddy," I said looking around, "where is Mommy?"

"Huh?" he asked looking at Lisa. I thought something bad had happened.

"Daddy, is Mommy okay?" I asked looking him in the eyes. I was only little and didn't know too much about death, but I knew that bullets and guns left bad marks on people.

"Of course she is," Dad answered wiping the tears from my eyes. "She is at the office working on something and will be home in an hour or so."

"Okay," I said happily hugging him again. I didn't want my parents to be hurt because of their job. I wanted them to be safe and come home everyday. I don't know what Austin would do if I took up their job. He would be worried sick about my safety. Even in the end, though you can still be hurt. I know they were. It was their marriage that was getting them in trouble, not being part or working with the CBI. I sighed and thought then that I was never going to become like my parents in the terms of their jobs.

Alright, so I hope you all liked this chapter for all the crap I had to go through to get it down! First my internet crashed so I had to fix that. Then I had to do homework that was due very early tomorrow I would not get done at school. Then I had to do dishes and watch my little brother and sister. Lastly I had to help a woman give birth to an unicorn. Wait what? Haha, last one was a joke, but I really did have a lot to do and I was wondering if I was going to get this done in time. But I did! So enjoy it! Peace out my Stars!
