*Alexis' pov*

I woke up in my bed to the phone ringing. I picked it up and looked at the name, and saw it was Austin. I smiled then groaned when I looked at the time. I answered the ringing phone.

"Hello?" I asked him, and his voice come over the phone.

"Hey sweetie," he said and I smiled. I could see his spiked hair that was more brown than blond. I knew his those brown eyes were smiling at saying sweetie and his skin being light but not too light.

"Hey Austin."

"You know those songs you wanted me to look up for you."

"Oh yeah for my project for life science. Are they good?"

"I think I found better ones for you. Look up Again by Flyleaf, Never Knew I Needed by Ne-yo, and of course the song you really wanted to but in your project. I think they will really help."

"Thanks Austin. I really want this project to look good."

"Did you get the clips from your parents?"

"Yep. Dad said I better make it look good cause he is in it," I laughed picking up the disk Dad gave me.

"Sounds like Mr. Jane."

"Well I have to look those songs up and get this done. You want to come over today?"

"Sure. When?"

"Three o'clock. Brayson won't mind, trust me."

"Okay, I'll see you then."

"Bye Austin. Love you."

"Love you too Alexis."

I hanged up and looked at the time. I sighed and walked out of my room and got a drink. I saw a note on the counter.

Already left, big break in case. See you later, don't get in trouble, Mom.

I smiled knowing she wrote it in a hurry. I put it down and saw that there was some cereal in the cub bored and milk in the fridge. I got a bowl and sat down to eat my breakfast turning on my phone to read the story I was reading. I didn't have time to buy it in the regular book form, so I had to get it on my phone. Oh well. I watched Brayson walk down and I gave him the note. He said nothing and I also told him Austin was coming over. He didn't say a word and got his own food. I walked upstairs and started to work on the project.

"Alexis, I'm here," I heard Austin call up.

"In my room," I called back. He walked in and I smiled at him. I was wearing a nice blue top and black jeans. He sat down on my bed and took my hand.

"Hey pretty thing," he said and I laughed.

"Hey," I said back. "How is the band?"

"It's good." Austin was in a band, and he sang and played guitar for it. The band's name was Angel Tears, which was a long joke between my friends. I will go in to it later.

"Work on any songs?"

"I did, but it is just one that someone else sings. On our own songs we have to get the last lyrics down, then get the notes."

"What song did you work on?"

"Cute. Want to hear it?"

"Yes."

"Okay." Austin took out his phone and pushed a few of the keys. Music started to play, and he smiled at me. "Your eyes are blue like the ocean, and baby, I'm lost out at sea. Did the sun just come out or did you smile at me? I've been trying to ask you, but I can't seem to speak. Was it love at first sight cause I walked by last week. I'm singing fa la la la la." He kept singing the song, and I smiled the whole time. He just let the lyrics role off his lips, and when the song was over, he kissed me.

"That was amazing," I told him and he smiled.

"Thanks, but I don't think it will ever be has good as our song," he sighed with a smile.

"True. So what is up?"

"Nothing. Mom is going on another trip to New York."

"Her mom still sick?"

"Yeah. I wish she didn't have to go so much. Dad says she will stop the trips when Grandma dies, but he says that will be a long time."

"I know how you feel," I said thinking about Mom and Dad being taken by the Red Stars.

"What's wrong?"

"It's just Mom and Dad might be taken from me."

"You know that is their job Alexis. They can't help what people do."

"No, not like that, I mean kidnapped."

"Someone might kidnap your parents?"

"Yeah."

"Oh Alexis," he sighed and hugged me. I hugged back and just sat there. I could smell his colon and when he pulled away I missed the smell. We talked and did boyfriend and girlfriend type stuff. I was sad when he had to go, but I knew I would see him tomorrow. Mom and Dad came home soon after.

"Hey Dad, hey Mom," Brayson told them. He was watching T.V. and I was drawing at the table.

"Hello Brayson," Dad said with a smile on his face.

"Why are you so happy?" I asked him and he shrugged.

"What's not to be happy about?" he asked back.

"I can think of a few things," Mom laughed and he raised an eyebrow at her.

"Can you now?"

"I can."

"Hey, you two be nice," Brayson said joking around with them. I laughed and he walked over.

"I was, but he wasn't," Mom told him pointing at Dad.

"I was too!" Dad cried.

"Hey Mom?" Brayson asked.

"Hey what?" Mom asked back.

"Well one of my friends is having a party this weekend, and I wanted to know if I could go. I promise adults will be there, nothing big. Just a little dancing and stuff like that. Can I please go?"

"Sure," Mom answered and Brayson followed her into the kitchen.

"But Mom- Did you say yes?"

"Yes, I said yes. You can go."

"Are you sick?" Dad asked her with a smile.

"No, I feel fine actually. I want Brayson to have some fun for a change. Is that so wrong?"

"Yes," I answered and she laughed.

"Just have fun, be home by eleven, and don't do anything stupid like your father would do," she told him.

"I resent that!" Dad cried.

"Thanks Mom," he cried and hugged her, and I went upstairs. Good o' home, right?

Oh, wasn't that sweet? Also the song Cute is real, by Stephen Jerzak. Look it up if you want to hear what Austin was singing to the wonderful Alexis. Do I have anything else to say? Nope, haha, sorry. I got a ton of snow on the ground, so no school for me, so I will be writing the next chapter in RR just for you guys. Peace out my Stars!
